For me it’s definitely going to clicks or dischem 😅I avoid those stores because I’m guaranteed to spend more than I planned. Also my mantra for this year is “I am not in a buying season”
“I need to go home and ask my partner is my saving grace” for every sales consultant debacle. Even if he doesn’t care… it gives me time to walk away and reflect.
It’s definitely the sales for me 🙈 I always end up buying when I don’t need anything. But lately I’ve been having buyers remorse because I know I have enough clothes. My new thing is I’m not spending anything that I didn’t consult my budget on . Loved this video ❤
I subscribed to your page a looooooooong time ago, but I have been so scared to watch your videos (cause money conversations can be tough) but I am so glad I have been watching these cause they're not heavy but they are informative and thought-provoking. Thank you lots sis, God bless
For it's the opposite. The fact that I can just tap my card everywhere is the death of me. Cash actually keeps me disciplined. I think I should move to cash and leave my card at home😅
Pride wont allow you to say i cant afford it ryt now when you are called out by friends for an outing, especially when you are going through a rough patch. True we need to learn to say no especially during broke days.
Oh my gosh Mapalo,i'm ashamed to even name one because i am guilty of maybe 95% of the things you have mentioned🥺 I have your book and i watch your videos but i truly truly lack discipline😭i budget but mid month i forget about it and go back to my habits😫
My other small expense is buying things for my son, it's just R50 here, R80 there and R120 there. Next thing you've spent a sizeable amount unplanned😅 that time there's no immediate need for any of them
That's my weakness😬. And I always excuse it with "I mean I can't swipe for 1 thing, since I'm here let me get this and that"...Come monthend when I'm looking at my statement yho😭🙆🏽♀️
They called me with yet another special and it took all of me to refuse the offer because I go twice and the excitement is gone. The intention is there but the motivation is not. Never again.

glad you're finally watching🤗 see, it's not too bad 🤷🏾♀️
I avoid withdrawing cash because once i have it, i feel very generous and leave tips all over😂
And my 'excuse' is always: you can afford to eat for that much but you leave such a little tip, don't be that person...then out the money goes 😂😂😂😭
This is me 😭

Such a simple concept but we miss it ALL THE DAMN TIME😭😭😭how little expenses keep us broke because they pile up and make big amounts. Ooh gosh

It's really the small things😭 those trips to the shops to buy bread but you come back with more than that🤕
That's my weakness😬.
