Made a lot of financial mistakes last in the past two years ' ofcause at that time I didn't know better , started learning about finances and financial independence last year ... I moved to Paris for few months last year. I was expecting a big invoice to be paid to cover my rent whilst living there. When the payment got delayed I found myself having to ask my bank for a loan (imagine). Promised myself to pay it back within three months, which I did. This year I've already saved up 4 months worth of rent and by the time I leave in April, I would have saved up enough money to pay for the 7 months that I will be in Paris. I do not want a repeat of last year. I like living in JHB and Paris so I have to be organized and ensure that I have enough liquidity to maintain myself when living in other countries.

I loved when you said get comfortable with having money around or in your bank balance. I am learning this. Last year I worked so hard to pay off my big debt now I am on par with the 2 remaining. And anytime I see money there I just want to spend it. 😔 it is definitely not a good habit that I will be working on a lot this year.
