I really enjoyed getting to film Keone in Vegas last month. It's cool to see a friend manifest a dream and turn it into a reality. This Full Day Of Eating is focused primarily on food but we did film a what it takes follow up documentary that will release later this month with more lifestyle and bodybuilding focused information. Stay tuned and thanks so much for Keone & his girlfriend/trainer Amanda for the hospitality. Keone is dope big up for making it in the 212 class. I’ve been bodybuilding for the last year I STILL can’t understand how people eat this plain every day. Respect man.
This video had a little bit of everything! That bison burger loooked fire!! Keon can eat, no doubt on that one. Thanks for the ride, M.S. I can't wait to see the follow-up after this one. And remember, don't forget the sauce 😂
Salt isn't a problem when you consume a lot of water, so don't stress about it. 212 division is the one where I won't be sad whether Keone or Shaun win it since I am a fan of both :).
@@chadwarden8664 These athletes consume around 4-7 litres of water daily, let alone all the sweat during training and cardio. Salt isn't a problem unless you are a lazy couch potato (don't take it personally).
@@ApostolosKatsioulas I'm a physician lmao I attended medical school. I also lift 4-6x per week. Again, salt intake has multiple risks which aren't mitigated by water consumption
@@chadwarden8664 I don't question your knowledge and I am not saying that excessive consumption of salt won't cause problems. However, we can live without sugar whereas salt is still needed. You know better than me that hyponatraemia is a thing and I know from personal experience it's not a pleasant one since I suffered from it when serving my army duty.
When I was lifting (not professionally, but seriously) my “secret” to making dishes more tasty was substituting low sodium chicken, beef, or turkey stock for water. It really boosts the flavor. You don’t have to use it for all of the water but at least half.
Breakfast: 5 large egg whites 1 whole egg sprinkle some sea salt and black pepper. 1 cup of spinach, 1/2 cup whole grain oats 1/2 cup blueberries handful mixed nuts or chia seeds or mixed seeds pumpkin seeds etc. (I put pine pollen powder and cinnamon in the oats) Mid morning snack: 1 cup low fat Greek yogurt with banana, beetroot juice drink with celery or kale and carrots, ginger and turmeric all blended in. (Nitric oxide drink) post workout snack: Bagel and 1 tbsp peanut butter and protein shake. Lunch: 1 cup basmati rice or 85g quinoa, Tuna or 4oz chicken or lamb liver or steak or any low fat mince like Turkey. Put some Garlic powder on it. Snack: Turkey Avocado sandwich (2 oz sliced Turkey, 1/2 Avocado, 2 slices wholemeal bread)add some lettuce cucumber and tomatos. Also ill have Watermelon drink blended with lemon juice and put some pine pollen powder in it. Dinner: 4oz Salmon season it with paprika, chilli flakes, cayenne pepper. or instead I'll have basa fish fillets seasoned with parsley. 1 medium Sweet potato. 1 cup asparagus or any other type of veggies.. Evening snack: 1 cup low fat cottage cheese 1/2 cup of cherries or pears. This meal is good for night time, cottage cheese contains casein and the cherries/pears contains melatonin which is good for sleep. Last snack: 1 cup of low fat warm milk rite before bed just a little extra casein. This is a cutting diet I eat 8 small meals a day Every 2 to 3 hours and drink a lot of water stay hydrated. Every morning I drink 3 cups of black coffee..Then for the rest of the day between meals I drink green tea. Apple cider vinegar on empty stomach first thing in morning and at night rite before bed. I sleep 9 to 10 hours. I train 3 days a week intense with plenty of rest days💪

Why don't people get meat from local butchers and cattle farms. The job is eating and lifting. Just go buy a full cow at a time and get it processed. You know where it's from and help a local farmer.
Plenty of people use pre/intra and post carbs that don't use insulin as well. The performance gains are extremely noticeable especially on higher intensity sessions .
I'm not sure the exact reason but many brands that are based in the EU do amazing things prior to getting into North American markets. They make great products I was very impressed with the quality of everything I tried especially the whey.
He doesn't. It seems like sometimes when they do eat off plan during the offseason they go by macros. This meal was pretty lean , could have gotten pretty heavy with fries and a loaded protein shake lol
@@muscleandstrength yeah at least he kept it clean and eventually counted it as two meals. Honestly in the off season I think it’s fine every once in a while. If anything the mental break is needed. I have heard Patrick still prefers not to though 😅
@@leigh_carmichael yeah to be honest Keone wasn’t into doing a meal off plan but was super cool to work with. I think that is why Patrick gets his athletes to look the way they do!

This isn't true. Salt intake independent of water consumption is associated with hypertension.

Psalm 73:26 John 3:16 Isaiah 41:10 Psalm 73:23 God loves you !
For your first meal, You should use grass fed bison instead. No seasoning and grab an avocado. Your meal before training should be fish and rice.

They are all Korean fitness brands. Determined, Sharp apparel and Freedom in order he wears in the video.
Great stuff
"Ima show you guys how to cook" proceeds to put already cooked items on the the pan to get reheated 😅😅😅 gotta love it

I don't think they would be opposed, but not everyone has that connection or knows about the savings involved.
