Yep. Back in the day when I did PS2 emulation, to do it legally, you couldn't download the operating system legally. You had to dump it to a USB drive from a console that you owned.

I first heard about the Soulja Boy "consoles" a couple years back from a TH-cam channel called Rerez, whose videos were both hilarious and informative. He actually does some exploring of the consoles and the absolutely wonderful games on them too, and they're still nothing like what's being advertised. So not only are these illegal knockoffs, they're illegal knockoffs that are using false and misleading advertising, which is also highly illegal. It's truly facepalm-worthy.
