I just viewed this one. My posture is ramrod straight., but when I sit at the computer (perhaps an hr. or so/day intermittently, including exercises and stretches), my thoracic and cervical spine begin to hurt as does my trapezius. Looking down for any length of time (reading a book, chopping food, etc.) also brings pain to my entire neck area. These exercises are great for me by providing relief, so thank you for adding this to your list of great exercises and stretches...Anastasia

I have bad posture. Lol I tend to bend forward a but. I can feel the difference in my back and shoulders and neck. I hear gravel when I turn my neck. Lol thank you for your wonderful video.

I get angry with myself for my continuously unconscious tendency for forward head and rounded shoulders posture. I have to constantly remind myself not to do it because it causes pain and a feeling of fatigue. Thank you for these exercises. I hope that doing them will make correct posture feel more natural so that I can avoid looking and feeling older.

It's important not to slouch when you do the corner wall stretch. So make believe you have a string at the top of your head that is pulling you up and making you stand taller.
Yes!! Imagine you have a marble between your shoulder blades and are trying to squeeze it. This strengthens your upper back muscles which are important for good posture.

Doing the chin tuck provides both static and dynamic stretching and strengthening. To move the chin back is dynamic and to hold it is static. Both are beneficial.

Pelvic tilts are not uncommon. There are exercises to address anterior or posterior pelvic tilt. Since everyone is different, we recommend checking with your doctor and/or physical therapist on the best ways to address your tilt.

Hi, the corner wall stretch , I don't engage my core/ abdominal muscles, is it okay?
It's important not to slouch when you do the corner wall stretch. So make believe you have a string at the top of your head that is pulling you up and making you stand taller.

Yes!! Imagine you have a marble between your shoulder blades and are trying to squeeze it. This strengthens your upper back muscles which are important for good posture.

HI April, When I tried the goal post in the corner, I felt almost electric pain down the inside of myupper left arm ( old injury?) . Are ther any modifications until I get that muscle healthier? Thank you !

Doing the chin tuck provides both static and dynamic stretching and strengthening. To move the chin back is dynamic and to hold it is static. Both are beneficial.
