+Camerons Car Reviews aha true. Can I ask you for advice because I want to start car reviewing and make a channel and what do I do going to dealers. You inspired me.
If you get a really good deal and it’s well maintained for 17 year old car. I’ve had a lot of little things go recently on my 09 Outback in last few years: Tranny repair on torque converter and new fluid $400, new exhaust system before and after cat, $1,800, bearings, grease, new front boot with timing belt change @ 109k miles, + new radiator $1,500, new O2 sensor $500. New power steering column bec steering wheel was shaking $500. All done at local mechanic otherwise would have cost double or more at dealer. Transmission specialist at Dealer wanted to change transmission for $5k, vs trying to repair which cost $400 with outside trans. Specialist. Car now has just under 116k miles. The low tire pressure light is on bot not worth the $500 fee to get new sensor and head gasket occasionally leaks oil. New version of my car would be $39k
Seems a little difference between us and euro cars, I ve the same year/model with a original touch screen in the middle with lot's of futures like navigation, engine status battery etcetera. Also a 6cd /am fm/mw/aux +cassette player! With ta etcetera. ,EL heated mirrors and whipers! and so more..the seats are also longer. 4wd is permanent and very good.
I found one of these about 2 years ago, was fairly interested in it until I drove it. The interior was smaller than I expected given the exterior size, and the 6 cyl didn't have all that much power tbh.
good to see you are doing older year car reviews
Gas, gas, gas. Im gonna run as a flash.
Its has a built in factory remote start. Have to hit the lock button 2x to remote start it.
Is that a thing? I recently bought this exact car, and had no clue. What's the exact procedure for the remote start function?

Great review!
Is a 2006 subaru outback with 180k a smart move for a used car at present?

I got one with 170 miles on it, works fine still and doesn't have any major issues
