It's a damn shame that Slimer is more of a 1/12 scale than 1/6; and no sculpted butt lol. I noticed a battery compartment under the trap..just wondering if the inside lights up or they simply abandoned the idea.

3 to 7 thousand for a one and a half inch realistic head sculpt?!😳😂. Hahahaha..I'd think more like $400. I'm an amazing artist and I'd make a 1:1 scale bust of you for a grand lol. Probably take me 80 hours, but I'm hard up for money - especially with companies pumping out more and more mind blowing 1/6 figures. As a kid of the 80's, I'm so damn lucky to be able to get items like this. When I started collecting 1/6 figures in the 90's, never in my wildest imagination did I think they would achieve this level of realism.
Great Review. I do love the "articulation" portion as you see the figures in scale to you. Loved it with Ripley, love it here! I think they all look great but Ray and Peter are the clear winners. Winston sculpt is very good, to bad the paint apps came out red. I wish they relaxed Egon's upper lip as it looks distracting. I am only getting Ray and Peter and I will be displaying them one per shelf on my Detolf's on separate sides of my (I have six cases). Seeing your Ray displayed as a individual only stresses my reason!! Together they look great but diluted. Displayed apart will bring out the "POW"!!!
Hey Chris, I just realized why Venkman especially & Ray to some degree look a lot fatter with their headsculpts. Blitzway reduced all the figures neck sizes from the prototypes which makes them look a lot fatter with their headsculpts on little to no neck.
Great review and beautiful figures. And Winston was a key member of the Ghostbusters and people really need to get a grip. My favorite scene with Winston is in Ghostbusters 2 when the ghost train goes through him the look on his face was priceless. Love these figures now I have to try and find them cause I missed out when these were released.
I read somewhere that Winston was originally written for Eddie Murphy and had a much larger role in the film, but he was already locked into Beverly Hills Cop. Ernie Hudson was the fill in, and producers (unfairly IMO) didn’t think he could fill Eddie’s comedic shoes so the role was rewritten as a much smaller part.
The production of Ghostbusters and Beverly Hills Cop didn't overlap. Beverly Hills Cop did not even begin filming until May of 1984, only a few weeks before Ghostbusters was released on June 8th. The reality is that either he was no longer under consideration by the time the movie began production, or he turned the role down. Nothing suggests a scheduling conflict.

Been following the Freaks forum - so this is a momentous occasion and we are so grateful that you're the first reviewer of these figures! lol I can't help but to chirp along every time I hear the smoke detector. I remember a little while back you mentioned it's actually inside of the wall because that's how the idiots did it when you purchased the house. But damn....those batteries have an epically amazing long life (for dying batteries). I have to say, your reviews are professional, entertaining (but not like your trying/have a gimmick) and unbias. Plain spoken and intelligent with a real love and appreciation. None of that "it should have rooted hair!" ungrateful, idiot millennial mentality. My kids are also going to inherit a fortune. lol - by that time we'll be able to 3D print or whatever anything our heart desires.

The details of the sculpts is off the charts, the outfits could've been a little better in my opinion. I totally agree in getting the whole set, I can't choose. 🤣

Not feeling Winstones paint and slimer is a bit small and toyish looking.I like the translucent look but hard to see the eyes and the black mouth just looks cheap. Sculpts are good and everything else looks well done.Love the streams and the back backs and traps look very similar to the matel ones.Like the fact the lights stay on for as long as you want. Rooted hair is not needed for these but on ripley would have been nice.Enjoyed the review stanz has the best likeness and if I could get all I would as long as they fix Winstone paint otherwise I'd just get Pete and ray
Great detail and great figures. Kinda upset that you can't attach the trap to rays belt. Very disappointing. Little things like that make me not want to buy. Good video bro
For me kakim has set the bar so high with her tyler, damaged t2 and robo amongst others that these are not 100% for me. Its usually the paint app that makes it. I think kakim would set you back 10k +. still amazing.
Just bought one of these stands cause the ones that came with them are so unstable so I'd order the stands you using at end of the video. Are this really better then the ones came with this blitz?
Egon looks amazing but the others look too “cartoonish.” Like they look like cartoon interpretations of the actors. Edit: Hudson’s character was so great cuz he was the straight man to the trio. He basically represented the audience.
I use IKEA detolfs, which are great for 1/6 figures. You may need to figure out some custom lighting, but it’s worth it. They have increased in price somewhat over the last couple of years, however, they are still one of the most reasonable and cost-effective options for figure displays on the market. 🤜🏽🤛🏼
Your Winston is missing a piece. The crank knob is missing. If you look where the proton wand attaches to the pack, past the two wires, you are missing the gray knob. Hopefully it is in the box.
I Am Toys I totally agree. I’ve been saving for the HT Hover Delorean, but I’m not sure if they will ever release it, so the Ecto 1 maybe be in my sights IF (like you said) the price is reasonable.

The grey meter is the gamma rate meter, or Radiacmeter IM-179 gamma rate meter. It reads some sort of radiation level.

I love the three Docs but, Winston looking to dark in complexion. I'm a black man and I just don't the Hudson looks like his figure. Great score!

Yeah Winston definitely needs a repaint. The sculpt is actually really good, but he definitely needs a redo on the paint application.
