    there was a chip clip file I found a very long time ago that I still print many of, and still have. The first ones I made out of some bright yellow PLA, are still in use today, 4 years later! A few have gone through the dishwasher by accident, one survived, the other time didn't (top rack it survived, but in the silverware rack it didn't). Its a simple one that uses the tension of the plastic to keep it clamped shut, very strong and some are starting to lose their...chomp after so long.

    I applaud you alone on the idea that you opened a kettle chip bag without tearing it right down the side. They put a starter cut at the top of those that direct s straight down into the bag. It's almost like they want you to fail. But you persevered and opened the bag cleanly. 🎉🎉🎉

    I find this completely over-engineered for a bag clip. I made one that you just slip over. No moving parts at all.
    That requires a bit of flexibility, but it works just fine in PLA.
    And you can probably print ten or more with the material one "Kaiser" clip needs.
    But an interesting mechanical solution nonetheless. :}

      The printables listing says "the first killed in Vietnam" I searched google for the first working dog killed in Vietnam, and it is confirmed by both official and unofficial sites.
      Quote from K9 Vetrans Day, 2023: "Kaiser was one of 4,000 dogs who served in the Vietnam War, and his handler was Marine Lance Corporal Alfredo Salazar. They did over 30 combat patrols and participated in 12 major operations. In 1966, they were ambushed by the Viet Cong while on patrol after they joined “D” company for a search-and-destroy mission. Kaiser was hit and died in the initial contact while trying to lick Salazar’s hand. Kaiser was the first war dog killed in action in Vietnam.

      I did some more research. Apparently the first US Military k9 program was started in 1942, during WW2. Any dogs used before then would have been unofficially procured. Like "Stubby", the most decorated war dog ever, bulldog in ww1.
      The first official k9 killed in action was Kurt. A Doberman killed in Guam by a Japanese mortar in WW2.
