  • This is my way of performing a power wheelie. I am not a master of this technique but if you are a begginer you might find this video helpfull.
    I hope you enjoy, if you like it hit the like button and suscribe.

      @@throttlechaser541 not afraid. Common sense. You just don’t do wheelies in first gear with something so powerful if you’re a beginner. You have 3 other gears to do wheelies and open the throttle. First will flip you if beginners follow you’re guide

    Its the bike , my 08 1000rr made me look like a pro.. so powerful so light..just tap the throttle and its up..

    alot of youtube tutorials dont cover that you have to lower the throttle on micro level and then hit it back again. it causes a controlled lift.

      No, it makes the suspension load then unload, helping to spring the wheel up off the ground… what causes controlled lift is good clutch technique and countless hours of practice.

    I have a 22’ xsr900 and I did a perfect power wheelie in 2nd gear on accident. I was just riding really aggressively to have fun and the front tire lifted up perfectly smooth. Now I can’t recreate it lol.

      It was unwillingly and you twisted the throttle more. Now you might be a little afraid and you don't accelerate as hard

      Just got a 23 xsr900 and accidentally did a power wheelie on my test ride and now I can't recreate it 😂

    I've always been able to wheelie my dirt bikes no problem but I have the hardest time on my gsx-r man it's so different lol.

      I know right. Dirt bike is easy man, plus the speeds are way lower

      It’s the handlebars. On sport bikes it’s clip ons, dirt bikes have actual bars that your body can pull up on

    This is straight up dangerous shit on a 1000cc bike... Use your clutch and you'll get the wheel up the same way every single time, if you're just ripping the throttle, it might come up, it might not, it might come up a little bit, it might flip... You're rolling the dice with power wheelies on any bike but doing it on a 1000cc is CRAZY.

      but they do damage the clutch over time since you need to snap it back fast and if u do it time to time over your clutch will fuck up trust me, learn how to do controled power wheelies in second/third gear and u dont need the clutch

      @@ak9784 ur not clutch up correctly. You’re not snapping the clutch, you slip the clutch for half a second with the throttle control.

      @@ak9784 A clutch is cheap and easy to replace... compared to the whole rear end of the bike, or your spine...
      To each his own I guess.

    I think a lower tire pressure would help transition the torque cleanly through the lower rpms.

      @@throttlechaser541 don’t get me wrong my bike does it since it a 1000 and I just slowly let off the throttle a bit not completely then get back in the power smoth but I make sure my rear brake is covered at all time

    Traction control is gna limit your ability, correct.....but as this is a beginners guide I'd say for safety have it in the lowest setting not completely off

    How to wheelie a fireblade.......twist the throttle really quick. Don't they have anti-wheelie?

      Hahaha, right?! Yes, integrated in the traction control until 2019 model. Turn it off and everything is fine

I was expecting the bike to nearly flip. once the weather is a bit better over here in Scotland, I'll be looking for a test ride of the new fireblade. For power wheelies in 2nd or higher, give the rear brake a quick tap, the front will compress and just give it some more throttle on the rebound

    look for the close max torque rev, accelerate from there, get ur wheelie xD

    best for me in power wheelie is in second gear 86mph and then drop the throttle ! at 119mph is slowly going back down as I run out of gear.. #RSV4

      Well... I have a hard time pulling power wheelies on my 1100. It just don´t do wheelies, but takes off like a rocket.
      I have ridden a lot of slower bikes that would wheelie just by twisting the throttle.
      Even my 750 v twin would occasionally pull up in second gear, and it haven´t got half the power.
      Hell. even the 70cc scooter i had would flip if not careful

    1st rule of power wheelies,dont do them
    Learn the clutch ups and most importantly the damn rear brakes,stop chasing out your damn wheelies thats how u wreck badly,power wheelies are unpredictable

      Yes, you can. Abs does not influence the wheelies, just traction control (dct) or wheelie control/anti wheelie on some bikes (i don't think yours has that).

    I’ve been trying to wheelie an S1000R, and it won't come up, the tire has no traction and it just keeps spinning.
