Sisters can someone give me advice? I'm pregnant with my first baby, due in a month inshallah. Unfortunately we have no family members in our country, and i will be alone with my husband during my postpartum and he will go back to work after a week. I am really scared how to tackle that time alone. I will have a maid coming daily for 5hours to help with household and cooking etc. And i have a close friend who offered me to stay with me if i need to, to help me etc. Ladies has anybody gone through something like this? Is it doable? Any advice what i can do to make it easier?

Salam sister 💕 May Allah grant you a strong end of pregnancy and a healthy delivery and recovery. Sorry it seems hard to have a newborn for many hours by yourself. Company is helpful. Your friend coming would help to share the highs and lows. A friend is good maybe because lack of sleep can cause many side effects. Sorry I lack advice.

Confidence girl! You alone brought this baby into the world and insha'allah you alone can look after it if you just trust and believe in yourself. Don't worry about the housework or cleaning or cooking etc.. that is not your job. Let your maid and friend take care of those things while you just relax, heal and spend time caring for baby. Accept all the help that is offered to you, no shame no guilt. Wishing you all the best mommy! 💕

Focus on your baby and your self only and let those happy to help deal with the rest of the home admin tasks such as a maid and friend. You are blessed to be able to have that sister tabarakAllah and im very happy you have that. Especially for the first 4p days it's pretty overwhelming so to have someone at home with you can be some moral support as well as practical support with helping with chores. May Allah give you an easy pregnancy and birth and bless you and look after you. My husband returned to work after 2 days after my birth but I had my mum to visit me sometimes and help. She works full time so I struggled with returning to "normal" but I rushed myself too much. Take it easy and go with how you feel
