I have spent over 30 years learning, collecting, and interpreting the period in which this series takes place. If anyone would have told me 20 years ago that a SINGLE SCENE in a prime time TV show could make a new generation feel and touch the horror of the Drepression, I never would have believed them. This series was something special. Stories like these would never have been told otherwise. Because of this, people will remember. Thanks to all involved.
@jeangeniex3 : Me too. He is so totally underrated and underappreciated. Ever since 2000's In the Bedroom I've found him so uniquely special in his delivery and the way he carries himself onscreen. There's just something about him that makes him really memorable, even in supporting roles.
thank you. this, and that one scene where ben comes across a man who tries to prostitute his downs syndrome daughter i had been looking for. havent found the second yet.

Every time that I watch this, breaks my hearth, it reminds me when I lost my son
+Ignacio Luciano I am sorry for your loss.
Pure Genius on so many levels... More more...
Love this series. Nick Stahl was so undervalued as an actor by the critics :(
The music and emotions in this scene always kill me
so good, so touching. ben we all love you.
I wish they'd make a season 3!!!!!!!!!!
Dude... that was .. an AMAZING show!!!!! Thx 4 this.
I absolutely agree! The best tv series ever, ever, ever, made. A total of 24hrs of program. Deeply convicted character, Ben.
