Good news. I sort of analyzed this dream sequence, and there's a lot of cryptic stuff just in it alone; and I think this show may still contain a plethora secrets to chase down. Very powerfull scene, tattooed in my brain, watched that show when i was sick, had nothing better to do than recuperate, somehow in my altered state this show stayed with me to this day. Slow paced show that let you time to process. 2 season of pure bliss, we will never see that again. Wish i could talk to management.......(sigh)
This scene basically lays out everything you need to know about the lineages of the powers of light and dark. But it happens so early in the series that the viewer has no idea what any of it means, much less who everyone is. It's a wink and a nod to people rewatching the series.

A perfect series. It goes down alongside "Firefly" as the Show cancelled prematurely, but for the better. It had these David Lynch vibes to it. This scene in particular, it took it's time. It respected the audience and was haunting. If this launched today, it'd get streamed every week.

I think its as simple as Ben and brother Justin get coffee ie breakfast. They are waking up. Their time is dawning. Their fathers are sitting down for dinner. As if to say their day is over and the sun is setting on them. Plus they are in the rear vision mirror.
