Should it be a dry shave or do you add something to the skin before you start with the shaver??

Since there isn't a blade gluiding over skin, there's no need to do a "wet" shave. This is basically just a really short clipper.

Just got the babyliss fx3 shaver and it does a really good job

Gotta hit it with a zero first then use the shaver it will not cut it when the hair is long

U have to take it down to trimmer length first, then u use foil. Every shaver I’ve used cuts that way

You have to start it with outlining trimmer first they cut closer than clipper set at zero then hit with
foils
