This is the most beautiful fade I've ever seen. I just bought $300 clippers and $200 matching trimmers and he's using a really basic (albeit professional) Wahl pair. Making me feel like I need to step up my barber game. This is so beautiful.

since this is a super detail video these are the steps for the fade, since it's a long process:
1. 3:29 he starts with #2 Open (6mm)[1/4"]
2. 4:32 makes a line without a comb (looks like lever closed)
3. 4:57 under the line with a Trimmer (without a comb)
4. 5:32 with a shaver/razor between hair and no hair and try to merge it with the shaver
5. 6:42 Clipper no comb open. 7:11 closed lever for merging
6. 8:40 #1 Open (3mm)[1/8"] to merge and 9:58 then the same but Closed lever to merge
7. 11:24 "#0.5" or #1/2 (1.5mm)[1/16"] to merge again
after that it's fine details and finishing result

This skin fade is one of the best I've seen. I cut my own hair and its tough getting it close to this. I can cut others hair pretty close to this but I'm no expert.

This kind of haircut is really hard but the outcome is very nice! I will rate this 10 out of 10.
Love the fade absolutely 💯 only thing I'd say is I'd need to blend after that 2 to the top of the hair so it does not look like a bowl #3 then #4 etc. But his hair doesn't look that bad without blend so 👍
I was thinking the same. I’m trying to find a video where they blend it without sticking up.
Facts I've had my license since 97 so Sep 17 makes 25 years. I like that he didn't paint his dang hair on like a lot of the other "Best haircut" videos. However if he were one of my students I would insist he blend out that heavy weight line. Understandably it's a lighter blend through that area because of his hair type but come on it ruined an otherwise great cut.
