Love this video. As an agent I agree with everything you just said. To answer your question as to why we ask who's your favorite designer. We ask that to see how studied you are in the industry you are potentially joining. Having industry knowledge and constantly increasing that knowledge helps put you a step above other models at castings, go sees, interviews etc... Another thing to keep in mind is that a big part of what agents are trying to see is how outgoing a model is, rather than giving a "correct" response. Yes, it is important that they understand your availability and a bit about you, but they are mainly looking to get a feel of what you are like.
1.how old u r( they will decided where to put you based on what age you look) 2.what are your measurements (heights,waist measurements) they will measure you at the end of the interview 3.do you have any tattoos (they prefer no tats but they can easily cover it up so its not a deal breaker) 4.ask you about yourself(what is unique about you,passions){60 sec speech, short simple} (where your from) 5.do u have any special skills 6.are you working (don’t make it seem like you have no time for modeling){say u have a flexible schedule 7.why do you wanna purse modeling (someone inspired you, or u want to influence) 1.are you signed with an other agencies (they need to know what that contract looks like,what kind of modeling, is there any conflicts that will come with it) 2.do you have any conflicts with other brands(for example if model with nike in their contract may say u can modele with so and so for this period of time) 3.are comfortable with wearing swim suits (if they ask you if your comfortable doing nude this a red flag) 4.who is your favorite designer 5.do you have any questions for them -about the contract structure, what divisions would i be signed to -who are your biggest clints, how busy are the models on your board -

hey! i actually have a meeting with img models soon which is so exciting ahhh! i recommend applying online there but also messaging their scouts on instagram that’s how they scouted me ❤️
@@_dariig probably do some research and find out the branch of img closest to you and then who you would dm on instagram from that. i got a response from the only person i dm’ed because they were the scouting person from my area!! but there’s definetly no harm in messaging them all so i say go for it x
I eventually want to work for a big brand name company would it be better to start off doing small-time modeling shoots for not so popular clothing and items? Or should I just apply for the big-time popular modeling companies if that's my end goal?
if this is a question to everyone...yes definetly do some smaller shoots for the experience and to get comfortable or to ask some questions. You also have to build a strong portfolio to get noticed by the big ones through applying :)
