Well this is a LOT easier than I had expected. My old toilet has a nasty build up that refuses to come off, replacing it like this is way easier.

Exactly what I needed to know. Our studs were spinning. Thought they would have a bolt head on the underside I needed access to. Ended up taking an angle grinder and cutting the nuts off of the studs.

I have found plenty of REPLACING RV toilets instructions, but is there anything on installing a NEW one where none existed before? What size holes do I need to drill in the floor for the waste and fresh water? I have the toilet and sewer hose, but they do not fit directly together. What fittings are there between the toilet and sewer hose?

Great video, but there are a couple caveats...... unless you are doing a like for like toilet, the feed fitting probably will not align perfectly to the new toilet so you will need some type of mating hose. I replaced a Thetford with a highly recommended Dometic. Do NOT go to a home Depot or Lowes for this because the connections to the toilet are non-standard. Turns the 30 minute exercise into a few hours after you have to redesign everything. I also decided to add a home bedet to the toilet, which I highly recommend but this creates yet another fitting dilemma to overcome. Fun stuff.

Well that is easy. My issue, while perched my toilet moved forward, tilted forward. It has a small base. Im not sure if it was glued down and maybe the glue popped but its wiggly now. Hmmmm. No snapping sounds.

I have this one without the hand sprayer. Trying to repair as the trap door is BENT and won't seal (stinky!!!!) I can NOT get a wrench or anything on the floor nuts! Mine is in a corner and hard to see/feel what I'm doing. So frustrating!!!

why bullshit this toilet like all plastic toilets with a crappy foot pedal or spray hose .Its plastic ,will leak and or break and leak and is a disgusting regrettable device. whats the obsession witg these toy toikets tgat have a often ruined an rv with their leaking. A plastic toiket? they dont have them on airplanes do they. Its your choice - go cheap on tge toilet and itlll bite you later or put in a regular home model. its not hard , especially after you try and relair the bullshit job these companies have for you. after the shitter has puked into the flooring ,under it ans every where else . .and it will ,i promise you. there goes your trailer down the crapper.
