  • Ian Baker is here to give you some tips on how to change an RV toilet flange seal. This is a fairly straightforward process but it will save you a serious headache... Or nose ache, I suppose. Seriously, folks, if you are having smell issues in the bathroom this could be the culprit. As always, be sure to wear those gloves when working on plumbing and don't forget to like and subscribe!

I've watched 4 different videos to find out which way the floor seal goes on. So far no one has pointed that out. It seems that you put yours on with the lip facing ng up so that's what I'm going to do with mine. I sure hope this is correct or I may have a mess on my hands!

All that you need is a cat or a dog to tagalong and the view count will multiply. (not that you don't have a lot of views already) but after watching so many Van lifers ...cats and dogs seem to put them in the limelight. Especially when they follow their moms and dads around to do the chores and fixing. 💗 thank you for your reply btw about herringbone tile, etc.

Please list the two seals. Would that be the only reason a base leaks?

      Hi There!
Are you looking for the replacement seals for a specific make/model of RV toilet?
Usually the best way to find the replacement seal you need is to consult your owner's manual. But our service department can also help you find parts for your unit: rv.campingworld.com/rv-service-maintenance
Speaking to your second question, other potential issues that could cause a leak include damage to the flange or to the base of the toilet itself.
Our RV technicians can always help you diagnose the cause and recommend the needed repair if needed!

Camping World said they won't work on RV due to its age, 1995. Toilet leak is currently so bad, the wood floor is warped , can see thru cracks. Hopefully flange seal will fix it. Spine injury, unable to fix myself.
