- The 2019 BMW 3 Series has be revamped from top to bottom, and the BMW 330i is the end result. Under the hood is an inline-4 turbocharged engine pumping out 255 HP and is mated to a ZF 8-speed gearbox. On the inside the 330i has been taken to a new level with materials and features. The BMW logo is not the Bavarian colors - its a propeller in front of the blue sky as BMW started with producing airplane engines
You made that up. BMW's own website says the story that tge logo represents a propeller is a myth. You do know what the word "myth" means, don't you? And they also say the colors are the Bavarian state colors. So, basically you are totally wrong. But thanks for playing.

Great review. I think I would buy this over the G70, more passenger room in back seat, better tech and just all around better car. A manual would be fun for sure!

Agreed. It’s a fantastic BMW. Just drove the M Sport package 330i x drive. It’s awesome. So balanced and powerful. Handles on rails. Smooth shifting up and down. Stops on a dime. I drove one with 10k miles and it was perfect.
New 3seires definitely amazing,if the m340i has 380hp, I can’t wait to see how much the m3 is going to make. keep up the amazing work. love to see more bmws m850i next maybe
I love the updated infotainment, instrument cluster and steer wheel. I hope BMW does the same updates with all there models. In the prior years, the interiors were dated.

I like everything about the car except for the turbo charged engine. I bought a new 2000 BMW 328i sedan and kept it for 16 years and absolutely loved the silky smooth 6 cylinder inline engine. Thank you for the excellent video!

@@soorma5304 I have a 2018 330i and I was really bummed it was a 4 cylinder, but once I learned to drive this car in manual sport mode with traction off and you would be thoroughly impressed.

I really love the new BMW interiors. I love this new 3 Series. I'm just not sure I'd cough up the extra 12-25K for this over a comparable G70. Still, great job by BMW.
Still iconic. But no NA-6-Cylinders any more. And no manual gear option for the beefy engines. A really attractive, agile (and rel. expensive) car for the the happy young family.

BMW engines almost didn't get into the Fw-190 Focke Wulf because they kept overheating, and the engineer couldn't figure it out, they just ran hot. Whenever I see the heat lines coming off the scorching paint of my 335i I think, some things never change.

Like the lines and style in the front and side. What’s up with that reflector, ridiculous to put it there and no manual...come one. Like the interior though, but for me overall is an M3 on this series. Great review Joe 👌👍

$53K isn't that bad if it had a inline 6 and Brembo brakes. It would be close to the Kia and Hyundai products.

The base 3 series is a great cost option compared to most other cars in this class. A CPO 330 will be around a new Integra TS with way more features and performance. I've driven three gens of the base 3 series and I've put 100k plus miles on each and if you keep up with the maintenance the interior materials last better than the Subaru and Hondas I've had. Good idea to keep the mini-midsize bimmer a secret ;)

My son has one. It's actually just as quick as a 60s musclecar. Not that there aren't equally quick Hondas and such, but it was an eyeopener nonetheless. One thing bothers me though, and that's the direct injection fuel system. I know they do it for emissions control and fuel efficiency, but that's not necessarily going to be the case when the new wears off. What happens when the warranty runs out and the valves are choked with carbon?

Good thing you can check the engine oil thru the LCD screen because you sure as Hell can’t check it thru the Dipstick. There is NO DIPSTICK!!!

One of the most stupidest things a car maker could've implemented.
After 100 miles in my new car, my 'zonks' to add to this guy's nitpick list are: no sunglass compartment, no CD player, small glove box, and the glare that comes off the aluminum trim when the sun hits it is blinding. (30:22) I'm going to put a strip of matte black crepe (easily removable) masking tape over it.

G20 is only 3in longer than previous gen, not 10 in if I m not wrong.

I do have a question. The shapes of the sides under your car's front bumper are all squares, but why are the regular 3 series weird triangles? I want to buy a 3 series with bumpers that are the shape of your car, but I don't know how to find them

oh my, I can't believe they placed the start/stop engine button right there next to the other buttons. Can you turn the engine off by pressing the button by mistake ?
You can get a decent spec 330i for $38K now w/ under 10K miles. Best is to wait a year or two after these models release; stating the obvious, but they’re popping online now.

I’m surprised that the brake callipers are not the M Sport blue, in the UK the 330i it’s standard Specification.
They really missed on the side profile very badly, all of the sudden they tried to be C class, Because of that F30 cars are holding more value.

This one is masterpiece, so no i don't agree on that.
Not in the UK, this model has been praised for fixing lots problems with the F30. Mainly the very harsh m sport ride and below par interior

I would say, the main question does it cost $50K? in dealership one is for 56k I think it is insane for bmw 3. I can buy 5 series fully loaded 540 for 65K.

李丽 yes if you are not an idiot buying it from a dealer. I have broker who gives the best price on any car, he takes 1k above the price of the car and usually it is 10k below msrp on cars above 50k

The worst BMW generations were the generations designed by Chris Bangle, absolutely atrocious styling of the entire line up for awhile. After he left, the BMW line got more handsom every year.

@@RaitisRides YES. I own F30 and owned E46, so have comparison. This current G20 reminds me of KIA inside. The virtual cockpit with the square graphics look terrible, the glossy shiny plastic everywhere, light switch has been replaced by 6 buttons, steering wheel is no longer leather covered - replaced by some sort of plastic, the bumper covers with the black plastic fillers in the middle of it...
