The voice actor you slightly recognized is Rob Paulsen, Yakko, Pinky, Carl Wheezer, 80ls Raphael 2012 Donatello, Twin Snakes Gray Fox and a thousand other characters, oh yeah, also the voice director for Rise of the TMNT.

When I was living on my own for the first time, I once had a stomach flu. I was lucky in that I lived across from a grocer/convenience store.
I was miserable, but I focused on playing this game the whole way through. It was a pleasant surprise (as much as it can be in that state) on how witty the dialogue and fun the gameplay was. The challenge, destruction and charm kept me concentrated on my want to beat the game over my ailment.

This game is interesting. I heard about it thanks to Jim Sterling. Sad to hear that the original creator wants to make another, but some publisher is retaining the rights not to create something, but to simply deny others access. That's a special kind of stupid.

Okay, let me give you a bit of a lesson here about Metal Arms Multiplayer.
It's solid gameplay at its core and crazy at the same time. Me and my brother would sometimes team up and take control of the Mill bots with Control Grenades and Link Guns to have then wreck my friends whenever we have the time to play. Only bad thing about it is that the Secret chips are hard to find and there isn't a good online guide other than a few hours long video on youtube to get all the stages but its worth it if you wanna take control of the Final Boss on the last multiplayer stage.
If I was you, get those levels, get a few people, and kick some cans in it for a good time. I might as well go as far to say the multiplayer is fun as Halo 1 and 2.
Edit: If you don't wanna grind the story for multiplayer levels then I would recommend using Action Replay. But if you are going to, make sure to delete your save file because when I used the code for all chips on a saved file, the chip count when over the amount needed and did not count to the completion. Or you can just find a completed 100% file online somewhere and use that.

I LOVE this game. So much content and replay-ability. The Multiplayer (i think) has 4-player split screen and was a great time when i was younger. Theres a lot of variety in the splitscreen levels and i never even unlocked them all.. but in the later multiplayer levels you can mind-control special enemy types and pin them against each-other!
I bought this game for my older brother on his birthday probably around 2004 mistaking it for custom robo, which he wanted, but i was just a dumb kid and didn't even know custom robo was only on game-cube and i definitely got this on PS2. anyways we both had some great times with this game... i would love to see it return or even more gameplay!!!

I remember playing this game with friends at a sleepover for my 13th birthday. We had a lot of fun with the multiplayer, creating our own pallet swapped characters. One multiplayer map had you stalked around a cramped foundry by a large, powerful enemy with a halberd. It was very exciting and scary for us, at the time.

Multiplayer was alright. Remember playing it with a couple of my friends quite a bit. The vehicles were great and some of the weapons are really creative. Only problem back then was people looking at your screen to find where you were in the map... but that was any splitscreen deathmatch on the o.g. xbox.
