@CHRZ CZON I really hope Hangar 13 doesn't fuck around with this. Fixing the skybox, improving the AI of enemies and cops (traffic laws etc.), keeping the small details of the OG (refuel your car etc.) and improving their engine (better vehicle deformation) are deal breakers for me.
Another great detail are Trams, if you kill the tram driver, the whole tramway System in city part will collapse. Cuz that stopped tram wont dissapear. All trams are mounted in the city. Trams dont dissapear or respawn.
I don't know if you ever encountered this bug. If you detach all 4 wheels of pedestrian's car and will steal it, all wheels will magically return to the vehicle as you enter the car
The game was unique for it's time. I'm looking forward to live thru the story once again even if unique details won't be in place anymore. The story was mad if you actually want to compare with other games at that and this time. And actually it was suppose to be a racing game in first place lol so I just hope they will not mess the storyline.

There are simulators such as Euro Truck Simulator 2 that don't have overheating engines. Mafia 1 was ahead of it's time in so many ways :D

They designed it originally as a driving only game but even so simulating the behaviour of the engine is amazing

Gear breaks no way this feature is going to be in the remake. The more videos u upload the more worried i get.
the remake will be different but it can still be good in it's own way, at least it will lead people to the original gem.
