Honestly battle network was the only mega man series I was able to beat and enjoy since I'm not a big on platformers 😅
@gaarasword I doubt that because that is 9 games and some have multiple versions so I find that impossible or at least for the switch

I really hope this introduces a lot of people to the Zero series. Those games are such hidden gems. Never played ZX, but eager to try.
ZX further improves the polished zero gameplay.
I prefer ZX over advent, felt more original and the story was really good as well. Nothing beats the Zero series though.
@@Fc1_ian I'd say Zero 3 > ZX > Zero 2 > Zero 1 = ZX Advent > Zero 4. What's amazing about the Z series is that it doubles down on what made X more fun than Classic IMO, the mobility and exploration. Zero 1 and the ZX games are full Metroidvanias after all.

@@Geneolgia How would that work with the controls? Remove the joycons? I guess, but that would still be a little awkward for "handheld" mode.
zamu2 the switch does have a texture based touchscreen, so really all nintendo would have to do is sell styluses with the games that are touch screen compatible/need a touchscreen to be played. And for tv mode you could just use detached joycons or a pro controller

@@kevinbriones1431 It's the megaman series I started with and my favorite iteration of the character. Battle Network was my gateway to the megaman series. I loved the RPG aspect, the story, the characters and Megaman.Exe was the best Megaman imo

I've been playing Battle Network 2 again for the last couple weeks and I'm totally addicted. It holds up so well! It's great to see how their early 2000's view of near future technologies hold up today. I think they are all still available on the WiiU eshop.
If they put ALL the battle networks on the Switch that would be THE greatest thing ever.

Wow, it's an another super surprising day to announce a Mega Man trilogy collection and I've still planned on getting back into the Mega Man series. I really love so much of nostalgia elements of video games because these always keep me happy and I have the most fun out of those but I also still miss my good old days of gaming since Super Mario 64 and the classic era Touhou games including good old flash games like Epic Battle Fantasy.

Anthony Rivera That was a reference to Zero’s return in Mega Man X6. It was translated directly from the Japanese language which is why it’s hilariously bad.
Now I can finally give the shoulder-buttons on my 3DS a rest. The poor things are about to fall off from all that dashing.
I lost many GBA SP shoulder buttons for this very reason lol.

Legends 3 is likely gone, of they do another one they'd probably stay it from scratch for the Switch.

Not only did I absolutely love the post-apocalyptic gritty setting of the series, but it was my first exposure to IntiCreates!

@GoldenFenrir You mean half of it is digital or something? That's a big disappointment if so. Digital stuff is cool but I'm always worried about it just going away like other games on a digital store. That Scott Pilgrim game comes to mind.
@GoldenFenrir That sucks. I always worry about your system bricking and you lose half your stuff. This is why the only digital stuff I've bought is dlc and Minecraft.

Lucrom Battle Network and Star force had a crossover game but it was only released in Japan, It was called MegaMan EXE Operate Shooting Star

Zx was my favourite one. Also loved the "Green Grass Gradation" soundtrack from the first level

This is great, I got to play both ZX games but didn't get to play advent as much.

Megaman Zero is hard but I'd argue it's the most fair out of any megaman game. Tough but fair. Great level design

You may as well play it on an emulator. They just ported the gba versions.
Each Zero game is like 32MB in size. The ZX ones are like 130 to 200MB. All the games fit within 1GB, with plenty of space to spare. I don't even think they make carts smaller than that. It'd take a special kind of incompetence for it to not be in a single cart.
I doubt this collection is bigger than 32Gb but then again this is 6 games so???

This is like the 50th time I've seen this trailer and I still can't believe it's really happening.
Honestly I'm super happy that this collection came out. My first Megaman game was Megaman 11 so it's nice to be able to experience the older ones.
