Yeah, I played X8 on my japanese PSN account to save 45-75$ and only buying it for 834 yens or so (like 12$ the 1000 yen prepaid card) and another japanese game.
It's was good to learn english and japanese, I don't have issues with playing games even if they're in japanese ( ～'ω')～
X8 is one of my favorites in the X series, its a darn shame almost nobody remembers it, such a fun game

I remember playing X Collection so much back then, the DVD would never leave my PS2.
Megaman fans, X fans, Nintendo fans and newcomers. This is my favorite gaming series to ever exist. If you want to have a solid physical copy, buy this for another console. If you want to play this ON THE GO ANY WHERE, get it on the switch. Megaman X lives on and be sure that there will definitely be a X 9 coming after this. #gethype

And that's because I always feel like I _have_ to add the series as a whole.
I, too consider this to be my favorite gaming series, spin-offs included, of course, to ever exist. I'll be patient, but boy, am I happy. Time to go hype myself up with some Gunvolt and 20XX!

Considering there are 2 PS2 games in this, the total size of all the games will not be possible to put on a switch cart. (The regular LC barely went over in terms of size.)

Fair point. But I still feel that when 6 NES games, 2 Wiiware games, a PSX game, and an SNES game don’t fit; 3 SNES games, 3 PSX games, and 2 PS2 games probably won’t fit either.

For a long time I have held on to my Megaman X collection for gamecube dearly. This was really exciting to see. Upped Visuals, the entire collections, Videos, art, and so much more. I will be getting this.

X4 Being the best title. Flawless game in every aspect (as far as Mega Man X games goes). Went kinda downhill from there, i do like X5 and X6 but yeah.. X4 is where its at.

Nicolle Its not like they wouldn't all fit on the cartridge. I'm just gonna wait a while and see , hopefully if enough of the fan base refuses to buy it like this it could force capcom's hand or they release a second cart to get people to double dip. I've wanted sonic mania so bad since launch and I waited this long for the physical cart as I refused to buy digital when at all possible. It worked out, so fingers crossed in this instance.

Downloads are fine. I dont got space for all those physical copies anyway.
All that will happen if everybody refuses to buy it is that Capcom will go back to pretending like Mega Man doesn't exist again. Just be glad we're getting these at all.

As much as I would love to support the Megaman community on this, I'm not rewarding Capcom for cheapskating for the 3rd time now by splitting the collection into two parts and forcing a download for part two.
I will maybe get part 1 down the line and on sale. Part 2 isn't worth the buy just for X5 and maybe X8.

LinkMaster64 I have honestly only played a few minutes of X7 a few years after it came out and didn't like it back then. Though X6 I actually do like, but it does have it's problems.

Megaman X: Collection had X-X6 and Battle & Chase, even though B&C isn't canon to the X series, MMX:CM would make more sense.
For that matter we don’t even have Megaman & Bass, SF X MM, Wily Wars, the Gameboy games, and the 2 Arcade games on the Classic Legacy Collection so it doesn’t surprise me that there are games missing from the X Legacy Collection.

Maverick Hunter X is actually my favorite in the series and I wish the MHX games had a series of its own (as a reboot to the MMX story). I wish it was part of the collection too (as well as the Xtreme GBC games and Command Mission) but I'll deal without it.

I know this is low effort AF when it comes to supporting the Mega Man franchise, but damn do I love the X series so much. Seeing this trailer reminded of how much I love the character designs, aesthetic, and music of the series. Mega Man fans at this point will take what they can get, and the X collection will get no complaints from me.
Well, maybe with them having to look back at these games all together when doing the porting, maybe they will have a better grasp of what/what not to do in future games they make. Well, maybe I'm being too optimistic but whatever.

I was hoping for Command Mission to be in the collection; or a Megaman X: Command Mission 2 but, it's more likely that the 1st statement occurs first than the 2nd... Why? I liked so much MMX: CM, I want to play as Massimo, Cinnamon, Marino and maybe new characters or at least, getting to know more of them.
Both X-Treme games are better then X7.
