This is actually pretty incredible. Restoring the old multiplayer features you'd get by linking the cartridges together and making them online is something I've never seen before. Usually collections like these are just a list of roms you can play alone which means that large parts of the games are completely inaccessible to you.
This actually convinced me to buy this collection

Better than the 3DS GB and GBC VC and the Wii U GBA and DS VC which had no multiplayer support except for Pokemon which was only added cuz of the trad exclusive evolutions that had had
It would be interesting if the first 3 generations of Pokemon games go through the same thing (along with connectivity to Pokemon HOME).
It is especially impressive because those features were generally written in near incomprehensible assembly code. That has to be updated to modern code and TCP/IP.
This was MY Mega Man as a kid, and I'm really estatic seeing him again. And the online features really make sense in our era.

I must say Capcom did a really good move by giving online functions to this collection, I'm so happy for all MMBN fans out there
Even better they put a one up with a `public match system` to let you fight randos for more chaos. Sharing/Comparing mechanics also are nice. Certainly became a auto pick up on April for me to get this title. Especially with those event exclusive chips being thrown on in.
Now im just getting more hyped if they have another trailer that shows off the Boktai exclusive content and maybe wedge in the Double Team (Especially for things like special exclusive forms like Gold/Silver Bass`form and that Boktai`form and Operation Shooting Star content in, even as a post-release DLC. Would practically be an easy pick up boon, preferably with a few additional improvements if its a paid DLC addition.

What a time to be alive. I played these when I was a kid in my gba and gbaSP. It’s really great to have the chance of playing again all of them, also having new features that, in that time, was just a dream. Can’t wait to have this in my hands!
Could not have asked for a better introduction to the megaman franchise than with the battle network series. Now hopefully a new generation will get that same experience!
Well that's a bit much. Battle network is a completely different approach to Megaman games, that said it has the pinnacle of robot master designs and surprisingly entertaining combat for what it is. Though the encounter rate can be a bit much at times
@@BlaizeTheDragon as someone whos played with games that have similar/ the same encounter system, I'm more happy about the fact that u can easily escape on said encounters rather than just let it go "u failed to escape"
I heard the BN series had a lot of fans that found connecting to others pretty difficult. This is going to make so many people happy.
Not only that, but with the game being available on other platforms: this gives consumers outside of Nintendo a first time experience, with the series. And fans without a switch can still look forward to the games. ⭐️

@@knuclear200x Easier said than done. A GBA SP is a couple hundred bucks, and these games aren't common. And the Game Boy Player is super hard to get working because of the expensive Startup Disk.
@@SaltyToad00 you can easily download an emulator and the rom file. Plus idk but perhaps a legacy collection would allow him to play the games 🤔

Wait is that his original English voice from the NT Warrior anime?! I know not many people are excited about that part but holy crap I just felt a wave of nostalgia wash over me hearing him speak again.
I also can't wait to play these again. BN 4 was my first thought the only one I actually finished was 6, the green one which I happened to borrow from a friend. So glad there's finally a release date!
My only experience of the MegaMan Network series was the english dub of the anime, I am very excited to hear his voice again!

This is me. I was introduced via BN4 but played Battle network 5. I never got to beat it and BN6
This is my favorite Megaman series and one of my favorite series in general so all 6 games are special to me even tho 3 and 6 are my top favorites of the bunch and the ones I revisit the most
Finally we get a Mega Man game after so long. It may not be Mega Man 12, but I'm just glad we got something.

The fact that Mega Man's voice is the same from the Battle Network anime makes this so much better
The moment I heard Andrew Francis’ voice I was basically transported back to my childhood. Bringing him back is the smartest thing Capcom ever did.
Same. I hope that maybe they can redub NT Warrior, but uncut w/ a revised script to the original Japanese. Especially with the same cast. Loved both Andrew Francis and Brad Swaile as MegaMan and Lan.
The Battle Network series was what got me into the whole Megaman franchise. It's nice to be able to relive my high school experience with this collection again.
One of the best game series during the game boy advance era. I loved playing them. I am so getting this when it comes out.

I’ve never pre-ordered a game in my life. There’s a first time to everything tho haha. Loved this series as a teenager and they have a special place in my heart.
Heck yes! Another Shooting Enemy remix! BN3 being my first, that theme will always hold a special place amongst the virus busting themes, and if the BN4/5 + BN1-3 Hero mix that was playing during the trailer’s any indication, all four of them are going to be solid. So pre-ordering this now!
This is one of my favorite game series of all time. Can’t wait to replay all of them again
Once this is out, next is Starforce (WOOOW!!!) and then Legends. Hoo boy, wonder what their plans are for Legends because Starforce will easily have what this collection will get. An upgrade needs to be done at least for the first Legends game.

No thanks, I'd rather have this timeline's version of the Stardroids coming to attack earth and Duo returning because he's trying to capture the stardroids.

Never could find them anywhere near me, so I can't wait to play them for the first time! I am amazed to see the old multiplayer features return as well, so many remakes do not have this function, so that's epic! Fingers crossed that this does well, as there is a specific MegaMan collection I have hopes for.

Whoa!! Online is finally here...this being GBA games originally they couldn't go online like now. So this alone makes this collection even better, hopefully the ranked net battles have good enough net code...this right here will either make or break from this selling well. I'll still pick it up as I grew up with these on the GBA but the online needs to be in working order I hope too.

I LOVED these games growing up. Probably the best Megaman spin off title that completely abandoned the tride and true formula for something different. Can't wait to play these all over again XD

I hope the sales for this game are out of this world so Capcom can see how much love there is for Mega Man in general. Would love to see a Battle Network 7, or even another Star Force, but X9 and a revival of Legends 3 are what Im really hoping for!

Loved these games when I was younger. Battle network three is still one of my favorites. The form change based on how you liked to play and the Star-wars esk plot twist in the story. Its just too good.
Thank you Capcom. Just please don’t indefinitely delay this game due to some real world event like another GBA classic we know. My heart couldn’t take it.

Absolutely loved these games. And its been long enough that I've forgotten alot of the story and can dive right back in fresh. Super excited for online battles with random people. Hope there isn't any lag issues with that.
andrew francis sure has improved vocally as megaman! i remember his vocal performance in the anime being a little cheesy but now it sounds legitimately on par with his performance as peter parker in a spiderman motion comic
Yes!! This series had me battling friends like crazy in High School.
If it wasn't Yu-Gi-Oh cards or Pokemon, this was the game that we'd be going crazy against each other in.
Capcom, all that's left is to get with JKB games and bring MMX Corrupted to life :)

how this just unearthed some deep set memories about a game that i vaguely remember playing but could not recall the name. i feel like this just keeps happening more and more as i get older, as nintendo keeps releasing reboots like this
I never get around Battle Network when it first came out. I’m so glad I can finally experience the whole complete collection.
Thank you Capcom! After years of abatement to the MegaMan franchise, Capcom have finally opened their eyes and came to terms realizing that MegaMan is the true bread winner and the most beloved franchise which the fans want.

This is really cool, I am a huge fan of Mageman and to see a collection like this is great! It’s also great to see older games like this being brought back into the light, these games were always 5/5.

Capcom should make a phone app where you have your own personal net navi and maybe add some sort of multiplayer to it. The concept of net navis works perfectly with how widespread smartphones are nowadays
