Hey mate great video as always and did you know that you don't need to worry about putting your heater on or selecting hot as the water circulates through the heater core all the time. What determines the heat in the car is the blend door (or mixer door) controlled by the HIM unit inside and they are renowned to fail or break mixer shafts on BA-FG's, so if your heater doesn't work it will be one of those reasons. Thanks.
Hey mate… Cheers for that tip, just an old habit from having to do it on the older falcons that I’ve always had 😆 Cheers for the feedback too mate, much appreciated 🍻
Dayco coolant bottles are renowned for cracking and poor quality. Not sure if it was an earlier batch but you're welcome to search for reviews (especially Repco). Great content and keep them coming! Cheers
Hey mate… I’ve actually used a few of these Dayco units before this one and never really had an issue. I’ve always only used the genuine Ford cap on them so that possibly could’ve helped. Cheers 🤙🏼
Ah nice one, good stuff! So rewarding doing the little things yourself and get good results. Every B-Series I’ve owned has needed the headlights restored too. Luckily my Fairmont had new lights fitted just before I bought it.
Thanks for that mate, yea I use the orignal cap as well. Also, you are The Master of one handed cinematography, I'm buying you a tripod for your birthday 😉. 👍.
Hey there or anyone else that's watching is ive flushed out my radiator 4months back and now i can see it's a little a bit of brown forming any tips would help also thanks for the vid from NZ
@@gidz_01 Hey mate, if it’s going brown since you flushed it then I’d say something may be wrong. A common thing on these cars is the factory transmission heat exchanger can fail and cause the transmission fluid to get into your cooling system. Dip your finger into the coolant expansion tank and see if the water in there feels oily. That would be a good place to start.
@@gidz_01 Ah bugger, very common with these cars. A way to prevent it from happening it to fit an aftermarket external transmission cooler and delete the factory one all together.
