- Thought I’d show the process of how I changed the coolant and coolant reservoir on the Barra Fairmont and XR6.

i restored my headlights god its so satisfying sanding it back then spending a hour cutting and polishing one ata time
Ah nice one, good stuff! So rewarding doing the little things yourself and get good results. Every B-Series I’ve owned has needed the headlights restored too. Luckily my Fairmont had new lights fitted just before I bought it.

Dayco coolant bottles are renowned for cracking and poor quality. Not sure if it was an earlier batch but you're welcome to search for reviews (especially Repco). Great content and keep them coming! Cheers
Hey mate… I’ve actually used a few of these Dayco units before this one and never really had an issue. I’ve always only used the genuine Ford cap on them so that possibly could’ve helped.

Hey mate great video as always and did you know that you don't need to worry about putting your heater on or selecting hot as the water circulates through the heater core all the time. What determines the heat in the car is the blend door (or mixer door) controlled by the HIM unit inside and they are renowned to fail or break mixer shafts on BA-FG's, so if your heater doesn't work it will be one of those reasons. Thanks.
