I heard news from an insider that Miyazaki did in fact spill beer on his laptop. It gave him an idea about of a giant swamp. So they are actually redoing all from the beggining. Exit the idea of the skyscraper tower that you were supposed to climb, full of traps and dangers (sort of Elden Ring's Sen's Fortress). All you'll get in this DLC will just be a swamp. With crabs. That's it
Normally when a game goes into debug before its trailer released it probably is patchwork to the map making sure there isn't a game breakin my guess is we'll get a dlc trailer somewhere between the middle of the month to the end of the month

Haha, making sure invasions work. They likely declare invadable areas with an automated process. Which would be why we end up with locations like rykard's room and radagon's corridor being invadable, spawn points dysfunctional in more ways than one, afk farming being possible...
I kinda hope we still have atleast a month before it releases. The soul reason for that being is that I've almost finished a ng+ no-weapon leveling run. While it is intensely rewarding to beat Real Mohg with only a +8 Halberd, a run like that makes ya wanna take a break for a bit lol
@@certifiedcib7958 it’s fun and also feels very rewarding to accurately dodge and punish moves, figuring how to max your damage thru other means than having an insanely strong weapon. Having to constantly switch things up to deal with enemies weakness keeps things fresh. Truly makes you feel like you’re mastering the game, especially for me since it took like 12 hours to finally get inside stormveil castle. If I ever decide to stream or make TH-cam videos it’ll at least help if I can actually do cool shit in the game, which is more of a background reason. The main fun comes from the rush you get after beating a boss, since the fights take a lot longer it’s so much more tense while fighting, making the achievement feel greater But yeahh that’s pretty much why

Not alone with that thought. What I'm getting from this is we'll likely get a trailer later this month, and the actual release will be sometime April-June.
I seriously doubt that they would use steam to distribute a regular QA build. They're most certainly QA'ing the distribution. Meaning it's done and final checks are being made before the go live. I expect it'll release 25th Feb, maybe a trailer sometime before, but won't be surprised at a shadow drop.

@@Tobi9753Not at all, if you think about it 2 months ago the director of Elden ring said that it was going to take a lot of time. 2 years of development for a DLC well we might as well go all the way and release a stand alone or even an Elden Ring 2 with a release in 2025. But I think it will be released around fall 2025, not before. This is surely what they are going to do, the latest report from kadokawa shows us well, this year we will probably have Elden ring on mobile.

I have a feeling that at this point ds3 archthrones team will fully release its mod waaay before fromsoft will release shadow of erdtree (which has all chances to be a full price dlc just like gow ragnarok / ac rogue) and to be honest i have more faith and i am more excited about ds3 mod than in shadows of erdtree which is funny in a sad way

Unlike Demon souls Bloodborne dosen't really need any game play changes aside from being able to rest at lamps and nerfing counter damage so I think bluepoint can do it

I'd rather bluepoint than nothing at all. But it really only needs a soft remaster. Higher Res, 60fps and some quality of life changes would have absolutely nobody complaining. I'd rather a sequel than for time to be wasted on an unnecessary remake.

I keep seeing these types of videos but no one ever mentions any sort of pattern in relevance to past releases. seems like it should be easy enough to go back and look at the DB of other games like DS3 and see a similar patterns. It would a lot more believable than blind speculation.

What ;)))) debug is not the final touch in development, you start debugging when something doesn't work and you want to see why... that can happen at any point in the development cycle but usually more in at the start than near the finish line, by the time you finish you usually know what's wrong without debugging
These updates are not coming from a development environment. Why would they push an unfinished project up on to a thirdparty distribution service for build QA and debugging? The project is finished & QA has reached the distribution phase, meaning any current debugs are indeed the finishing touches to problems found during that final stage.
At this point it's obvious it isn't coming maybe until later in the year. Every clickbait video I see uses Katakawa statements, and debug notes found....and rumours...it's annoying. Just stop it. It'll release when it releases. I remember before the game awards there was a build up and then nothing. Same again last week and before that. They don't run to our timetable and updates on Bandai Namco's youtube channel don't mean anything - until they tell us. Could even be November...let's just setlle down now.

To be honest the game did go to debug often in the last few months. So i don't think thats something happening before or after trailers.

Internal debug is different from a QA phase. There's no reason to deploy to steam unless they're getting it to the final touches.

At this point it's obvious it isn't coming maybe until later in the year. Every clickbait video I see uses Katakawa statements, and debug notes found....and rumours...it's annoying. Just stop it. It'll release when it releases. I remember before the game awards there was a build up and then nothing. Same again last week and before that. They don't run to our timetable and updates on Bandai Namco's youtube channel don't mean anything - until they tell us. Could even be November...let's just setlle down now.
