Elden ring is one of the best made games ever. The ability to show that they can make such amazing things and OVER deliver on something they already had people surprised about is amazing. I think they’re one of the only great game devs currently that deliver on every title they release
And stop using SoreSeals and Scorpion Talismans as their defense debuff will negate the Fragment buffs. No need for offensive talismans in the DLC you Fragments give you more than enough extra damage. Need to use defensive talismans
I'll never understand how there are people who'll vehemently shit on something because it's not made like something else. That's like me saying ice cream is terrible, absolutely awful, and revolting because it's not made like cake
Lol wow. Some people just really dont like it when people enjoy something they don't. Even better when it's something they havent played. To go to such lengths, writing up a fake review with ai narration...? Wow lol dude needed this roasting 🤙🏾 Edit: and yes! The one issue people bring up, amd easily addressed, difficulty. From the amount of people that didnt know about or didnt use the fragment power ups it seems like a self inflicted debuff. They must of quickly clicked off the popup prompt that paused the game(in an otherwise unpausable game) upon grabbing their first scud fragment, not even bothering to read it😂 So many people said they had them and didnt realize using them would help address some of their issues. That means they really didmt pay attention , which is on them🙄 Also the laziness of people complaining about hunting all of the fragments down lol. Umm explore? Learn? Again, thats an individuals issue. Great point about exploration 🤙🏾
You what I hate about people talking about one shots from bosses? It’s that people don’t understand that there is a counter attack mechanic. If you get hit while attacking you take more damage but fail to realize that this goes for bosses too. So if you learn the enemies moves you can learn to punish them more effectively.
Gotta love reviews where they just say "it's a bad game, I can't believe how bad it is" without explaining why is it bad or providing gameplay footage.
It's not bashing your head against the wall if you enjoy learning the bosses well enough to beat them without overleveling, cheese building, or summoning. Everyone knows about the scadutree upgrades, I just save them for when I'm stuck. Did the same thing with the base game, didn't farm runes or level my weapons unless I had to and I enjoyed every death. Their games only comes out every few years, what's the hurry to get through them just to go back to some generic industry standard games.
I'm a dedicated from soft fan and at first I thought Bayle the Dread would be literally impossible. I was dying having barely chipped his health. Over time I worked out how to survive his first phase. Eventually I worked out how to summon Igon. Next thing I settled on a build change to heavy shield and blood spear. Before I knew it this boss which had seemed impossible was down.
I felt the same way, so I leveled up the Dragon Hunter’s Great Katana with the anti dragon effects and summoned Igon since it was the first playthrough and I wanted to see more of Igon lol. I think I spent like 20 minutes before beating it. Now I can’t wait until my second playthrough where I beat him solo and truly see his challenge lol
You know after beating the dlc twice now, it really isn’t that difficult. The bosses and mobs are just more aggressive, you can deal with that by collecting all the scadurtree fragments and creating a strong overpowered build.
One of the key tells that this is AI is hearsay versus heresy ... in the video they attempt to use the word HERESY, but AI is not good enough to understand nuance yet; and says hearsay which is a totally different word with very different meaning
@9:45 Hey man, not all of us are like that. I thoroughly enjoyed bashing my head against the wall trying to stick to the main quest only. The 7 hour fight I had with Messmer (with no buffs and no mimic tear or other summons) was legendary. It was personal! A 1v1 I'll definitely remember for a while lol But after beating him the game quickly showed me in the most rude way that it was time for me to venture out and explore more... and I did exactly that 😅🤣
Look man. I grew up on Nintendo and back when I was growing up EVERYTHING on Nintendo was hard. Back then beating a game actually meant something. 3 lives then permadeath. That's hard. At least From gives you a checkpoint. This is why I love From games. It reminds me of my youth. When you told someone you beat a game back then, most of the time they didn't believe you, because the shit was hard. Today everyone thinks they're entitled to beat a game. This shouldn't be the case.
the only 'hard' fight is the final fight; Being flashbanged on an QDOLED isn't fun, and having to use a bleed weapon and mimic when I didnt use either in like 85% of the DLC wasn't fun either. Beating it using things I didn't want to use wasn't satisfying. I could get ol' boy down to around 60% but then I would get melted. 80+ deaths and 3 days of it. Once I switched to Bleed/Mimic, I only died twice. Besides the bugs/smithing stones, at least an 8 or 8.5/10 DLC. Why this guy would make himself look worse than he already does is beyond me.
The difficulty debate is what happens on every new FromSoft release. Especially Elden Ring and the dlc since it's by far the most popular FromSoft ip. I don't think the dlc is too hard. But, without spoiling anything, I think they went a bit overboard with the visual effects on the final boss. It made some of the attacks hard to see or recognize. Imo, obscuring the player's vision with effects is not a good way to make the fight more difficult as the attacks themselves were fair but difficult to dodge. My guess is it was not FromSoft's intention with the amount of visual effects, either. They probably just aimed to create a fittingly epic ending to the dlc. So what I'd like to see happen is toning down the flashiness of the effects on the final boss. But please don't lower the difficulty of the dlc further. I had an amazing first experience with it as it was at launch.
I am so sick and tired of people like this guy ridiculing the argument before making their point. Spamming stupid terms like "Fromslob" just to make sure that every person he argues against is already angry. And then he just sits there on his high horse, going on about how great and talented he is and how everyone not on his side is stupid and blind. Any possibility of an argument was destroyed because people like that are not interested in debates. All they want is to spew out their opinion on the Internet, get their instant gratification from people feeling insulted or fans cheering them on.
Disses Elden Ring for being too eazy... Then immediately gloats on Zelda... 😆 Zelda is literally rated E for everyone with kid playability in mind. Even the player "Let Me Solo Her" admitted to dying countless times to master a single boss in Elden Ring. I seen him review bomb the Elden Ring moveset the same ironic way in comparison to Zelda... The game series notorious for weapons having like one move animation per weapon/gadget.
So tired of these people. Fromsoft has always delivered unique and phenomenal content and deserve their accolades. These people should press uninstall in a video game of course... In a sea of garbage and cash grabs Fromsoft is a beacon of light..
That's not a review, that's just a trollbait thread from the game forums that checks all the boxes being read aloud by an AI voice. I have literally seen dozens of troll threads in which "fanboys" are attacked immediately, and terms like "Fromslop" are commonly used. The problem some people have is that in their mind it bugs them so much that some games are universally loved. How can anything be this good? It's not possible and I know better... yeah, right. I always say "criticize away, but at least try to bring something substantial". And the issue is that 99% of these guys are ofc not able to do that...

Elden ring is one of the best made games ever. The ability to show that they can make such amazing things and OVER deliver on something they already had people surprised about is amazing. I think they’re one of the only great game devs currently that deliver on every title they release
PSA to everyone complaining about "cheap one shots": Level up vigor and/or find scadutree fragments. If youre getting one shot, its your own fault.
Is this what president Gimble is doing now?
Slick reference man
Lol wow. Some people just really dont like it when people enjoy something they don't. Even better when it's something they havent played. To go to such lengths, writing up a fake review with ai narration...? Wow lol dude needed this roasting 🤙🏾
Edit: and yes!
I will stand and die on this hill. Harman Smith would not hate Elden Ring NEARLY as much if it was somehow able to come out on Switch.
He probably can't get pass the first key stage on old school pacman 😂
6:05 it was at least a good impression. Nintendo shitcube is iconic.
If Rage Bait/ not showering was a person
Harman is the only fool who uses the term From-slop. 😂😂😂
Before I knew it this boss which had seemed impossible was down.
lol pest lance is all I have to say. I did 45k damage to him in 10 seconds
"I'm bad at the game, therefore the game is bad" is the kinda energy this guy gives. L!
To quote cardi b
"Pressed dressed pressed harman why are you so pressed"
You know after beating the dlc twice now, it really isn’t that difficult. The bosses and mobs are just more aggressive, you can deal with that by collecting all the scadurtree fragments and creating a strong overpowered build.
One of the key tells that this is AI is hearsay versus heresy ... in the video they attempt to use the word HERESY, but AI is not good enough to understand nuance yet; and says hearsay which is a totally different word with very different meaning
He probably put the wrong prompt because he's too stupid. Ai can read everything

Thank you couldn't have said it anyway better 😂
@9:45
Hey man, not all of us are like that. I thoroughly enjoyed bashing my head against the wall trying to stick to the main quest only. The 7 hour fight I had with Messmer (with no buffs and no mimic tear or other summons) was legendary. It was personal! A 1v1 I'll definitely remember for a while lol
But after beating him the game quickly showed me in the most rude way that it was time for me to venture out and explore more... and I did exactly that 😅🤣
I love his use of specific examples to prove his points...
That AI voice is the only Maiden he can get.
This dlc was the first time I wanted to do multiple play through for the full experience
Why people can't just play games they like instead of making hate-reviews of games they don't like?
Jeez, tell about being desperate 🤣🤣🤣
I genuinely can’t think of another mech franchise like Armored Core that has had a game release in the past 20 years.
I love it I may have died a million times but I can't wait for the next dlc .
I might be wrong but don’t you need to play for a bit before accessing the Breath of the Wild DLC?
Yes I can confirm, there’s a lot of artificial intelligence in that review
the only 'hard' fight is the final fight; Being flashbanged on an QDOLED isn't fun, and having to use a bleed weapon and mimic when I didnt use either in like 85% of the DLC wasn't fun either.
I have 25 hours into this DLC and I know there’s tons of content I haven’t found
I wonder what’s more difficult to beat. Ninja gaiden black or Elden ring DLC 😂
100% one of those guys that got one tapped by the tree sentinel in Limgrave and put the game down. And been salty ever since
tell me u are crazy without telling me u are crazy
I've not found the DLC too hard, it can be difficult but you have options to solve this.
I'm loving the DLC
Wow, his life must be so sad
His physiognomy says it all.
Anyone who could beat the game wouldn't be this butthurt, fakest review ever.
A hitless run? Well, well, let us all see this hitless run.
I watch these videos and think - are we playing the same game ? Maybe he got the other version I don’t know about
Hi I’m new to fromsoft games and I knew of dark souls reputation but I gave elden ring a shot and I love it the dlc does have some issues like bosses being to aggressive and rushing you but other then that the dlc gives you tools to get stronger you have to find them I also had the same bases for fromsoft until I played elden ring and it changed my mind about them
