A really nice clean up of the torque wrench. I used to use those a lot back in the day rebuilding my motorcycles, but never came across anything like yours. Nice unit mate. Has it started to cool down over there yet? Getting warmer around our parts.
Thanks Brother!! I knew you were the James Dean type. We are rolling into the dog days of summer here. Won't see a cool down until next month. Take Care.
Sweet! Great job on this. I can tell you this would have been a 2 day job for me. 95% of the time would have been looking for the BB on the shop floor! LOL. Hey, what is the buffing wheel (yellow) you are using at 2:40?
Those are cool. I found one in the dollar bin at my local pawn shop. Couldn’t believe it, but I hung it up with a couple other beam style torque wrenches that I’ve found. Their cool decoration for the garage. Yours sure shined up nice. What are you going to do with yours? Nice job . Thanks.
Thanks Buddy.. I'm not sure what I'll do with it. either resell or just ship it off.. I don'r really collect them and it's too nice for my walls. You interested?
Thanks for the offer, but I’m not a collector either. More of a hobbyist or opportunist. If I can score a deal, I’m all over it, but if prices are to high, I usually pass, unless it’s something awesome. Then I’ll pay up.
@@Uwannawatch i figured out how. That bezel that you used sandpaper on is only press fitted. Take a small pry tool and pry around the edges of it and it will pop right out with the plastic lense.
I always loved the look of the old school Snap-On tools. You did an amazing job bringing this one back, keep up the good work as always!
Thanks Brother, Ya the old Snap-On is pretty cool especially when you can find it for a good price.
Turned out nice and shiny. Great job cleaning it up Mr George. Never seen one like that before 👍
Thanks Man, I haven't seen one either.

Thanks Captain Ivan, Ya man, I've never taken one apart.. that little BB and spring surprised the hell outta me. Hope you're doing well.
HA!!! We have all been that guy to mutter 'SH#T' when opening something the first time!!!!!
That spring and BB surprised the hell out of me🤣🤣
Snap On, thats a nice find. Never know when you will need a torque wrench. Nice Job.
Thanks Dale, That's true you never know when you'll need one.. and Snap On stuff is always exciting to find.

Turned out great. I have one that I plan on restoring that is in terrible condition. Thanks for sharing. Cheers
Thanks Man! Have fun restoring it. That was the first one I've ever taken apart. Let me know how it goes for ya.
Great video I collect and restore vintage ratchets and just picked one of these up.
Sweet! Thanks! I don't actively collect Snap-On but this one was too cool not to pick up and give a little makeover to.
Looks Great George
Thank You!!

Thanks David!! I was so lucky that BB landed right inside the wrench😁 That's a brand new ultra fine brass wire wheel.
Clumsy guy! Love it, great work. 😅
Thanks Brother. You know I left it in there for you. Didn't want you to unsubsrcibe again.🤣🤣
You know it's shiny when you do the ScoutCrafter test of putting your fingers next to it an showing the reflection.
You got it!

Right on.👍🏻
Right On!! Right On!!
Ok, but how do you take the dial out?
I didn't take the dial off. I couldn't figure out how. and I didn't want to risk breaking it. I should have made that clear.

Good to know..Thanks!@@sethh8892
Yikes! Keep your beard clear of that wire wheel! ;)
It's the combo sander that's the getter. Ask me how I know.🤣
