The destruction of the river tape was my absolute favorite video that you’ve made. Ooh sorry I got distracted back to discussing HOLES. Oh my gosh the cemetery scene is epic lol
I took the day off to mine for pine today! Was super successful. Amazing tip. Even found some nice bone inlays! Super excited about this tip - changed my life.
My mum and dad were a great team . Grandpa was a specialist interior painter and decorator and taught them the trick of the string across the bucket for cleaning the wallpaper paste off the brush . Fortunately they passed the tips and tricks on to me . You just brought back fond memories.
After 61 years of woodworking I thought “I knew it all.” Thank you for filling in some of the blanks for me. Educational, funny and inspiring - good job.
Reclaimed pine just under our feet! 👏👏😭 Haven't finished the video yet but the router sled was pretty brilliant. I'm currently looking at you in a "grave". Great wholesome content Jason! Thank you
I’m one of the weirdos who like sanding. I love seeing the grain of the wood revealing itself in greater and greater detail. It’s one of the best parts of woodworking.
I love your video’s Because when you talk you talk gentle nice and easy, not with hard voice, you make jokes and it makes sence what you say Greets from the Netherlands!!!
Love the reclaimed pine. I really enjoy your videos and am passing them to my grandson and his friends who are into woodworking at various levels or yet to be inspired.
The best tip for paint cans I’ve seen is to cut the top off of a bottle and slip it over the can and shrink it on with a heat gun. Then just pour out the paint you need and screw the lid back on. GENIUS.
The “sander headlight” is a terrific idea. When pulling smaller pneumatic nails they break if you try to pull them out with a channel lock. I’ve had good success holding the nail with a pliers and using a hammer or small bar to lift the pliers straight up. You’re not trying to bend the nail so it doesn’t break and usually comes out quite easily.
They haven't figured out not to put lock-on buttons under the hand of every left-handed woodworker yet, and that's an actual safety issue. Don't hold your breath on them putting lights where you need them
I like the square trick for measuring diameters. But an easy alternative is to just wrap a tape around to measure the circumference and then divide that by 3.14.
Wow! This is by far the best Tips and tricks video I have ever seen! Every one of these guys are keepers. Thanks a million for posting, I found it to be very helpful. Great video of these techniques !!! Thank you for posting
Some excellent suggestions. I use vise grips instead of channel lock - same effect, grip smaller stubs. Love the rabbet + template hole enlarger. The total boat epoxy filler - new info! Thanks for (most of) the video.
Love both the router tips! Wish I’d known the nut filler trip for when I was doing some outdoor benches too. Those knots for pain in the butt and I definitely did not use the right product for it.
Good tips. For pulling smaller nails, or ones that are nearly flush, i like to use end cutting pliers. The sharp jaws grip better, and they have the same rounded shape to lever the nail out. Plus they're wider than channel lock pliers, so they're less likely to dent the wood. Sliding a putty knife under the jaws prevents dents, too.
I normally don't watch tips and tricks videos, because most of them are stupid. But I picked up some good ones here. That tip with the Iced Tea was brilliant!
I use System 3 T-88 epoxy for voids. It's structural epoxy that I had left over (had some dry rot outside), but It's viscous and works well for filling things like knot holes in black walnut. It's in 2 containers, resin and hardener, so you only mixup what you need.
Isn't there a risk with string that the circumference you're measuring isn't perpendicular to the cylinder's edge, and is therefore longer than the cylinder's true circumference? I guess tape solves that problem since it'll only go on flat.
Love the sander headlight. We used to use a raking flashlight to detail drywall for repaint. My drywall guy says it’s not flat but the illusion of flat. Like the leaving a tail on peel off backings. With regular tapes I fold the end over to leave a grip tab.
Measuring tip: Wrap a string around the item you are trying to measure and mark the length. Put that against your tape measure to get the circumference, divide that by pi to get the diameter, and divide that number by 2 to get the radius...
Another great video dude! I think I have seen them all and this one is just as great as all the rest. Thanks for all the tips. Hope all is well with you and your family!!!
Lots of good stuff. I've used the channel lock hack for years, it's especially good for taking out nails from baseboards from the back so you don't blow out the front trying to hammer them through.
Damm I gonna go mine some pine at the park in my neighborhood, heck I rarely see anyone in there, and most of the good stuff has flowers over it! Thanks Jason
Channel locks do great for pulling nails but I've found bull nips as my preference. They tend to mar less because the nips head are broader. Also they don't bend the nail as much, so pulling the nail is straighter leaving less hole and tear out behind. Love your stuff. I am now a committed pizza hole joiner from this day forward.
The destruction of the river tape was my absolute favorite video that you’ve made. Ooh sorry I got distracted back to discussing HOLES. Oh my gosh the cemetery scene is epic lol
The domino tip made me belly laugh. I’ve been in pain from a recent surgery and I needed that. It hurt to laugh, but it hurt so good!
Mining for pine, gives new meaning to Deadwood....😂
I do the channel lock trick, but on soft wood I also use a putty knife laying flat in between the wood and channel locks 😊
A stiff back broad knife works excellent. I used to have an old heavy gauge deburred electrical box cover for prying against drywall.
Vice grips!
I took the day off to mine for pine today! Was super successful. Amazing tip. Even found some nice bone inlays! Super excited about this tip - changed my life.
Wait... Minecraft is fake?!
😂😂😂
Love the ice tea and bourbon bottle prank. I need to do that. Water in a vodka bottle is another great one 🤣
My mum and dad were a great team . Grandpa was a specialist interior painter and decorator and taught them the trick of the string across the bucket for cleaning the wallpaper paste off the brush . Fortunately they passed the tips and tricks on to me . You just brought back fond memories.
Absolutely love the headlamp on the sander. Can see other applications for sticking a headlamp on a tool like this. Brilliant!
After 61 years of woodworking I thought “I knew it all.” Thank you for filling in some of the blanks for me. Educational, funny and inspiring - good job.
“Knotty” and “Bright idea”, Dad jokes just in time for Gather’s Day. And that was cheating one problem, knots and you got two tips of out it.
Me too, 60 here and that tip with the two sided tape is brilliant, especially given the simplicity.
Headed to my local park to mine fer some pine!!
Genius tip!!
Thanks!
I love the shenanigans of your videos. It makes your channel MUCH more entertaining, a bit goofy but I like it!
I can't wait to see more from the airstream 😊
Reclaimed pine just under our feet! 👏👏😭 Haven't finished the video yet but the router sled was pretty brilliant. I'm currently looking at you in a "grave". Great wholesome content Jason! Thank you
Thank you for this video! I really needed it this morning! I’m still laughing about “Mining for Pine”!

A small pair of vice grips makes this trick even easier.
Thanks...our 5 month old puppy loves your videos so they are great for settling him down at the end of the day😂
I enjoy your humor very much. Thanks for the video.
I absolutly love these videos, you don't go in with the boring straight forward teaching its funny and keeps the audience haha
That double-sided tape tip is really great! Thanks!
I just love your energy!!! You are an amazing human!!!
I can't believe how well you keep a straight face. Thats a great skill.
How in the world have tool companies not caught on and made a sander with lights built into it?!? That’s actually a great idea!
Great idea. It took a long time to put it on a light on a cordless drills 😀😉
i know i use several lamps never thought of putting them on the sander. they are on all other tools why isn't it already
They haven't figured out not to put lock-on buttons under the hand of every left-handed woodworker yet, and that's an actual safety issue. Don't hold your breath on them putting lights where you need them
I love your videos and your sense of humor bro
Thanks for sharing all the tips and tricks in an entertaining way. I learn something new every time. Thank you!
I knew the pizza was coming out, but did NOT expect you to plug the hole with it. Literally lol'd!!
I like the square trick for measuring diameters. But an easy alternative is to just wrap a tape around to measure the circumference and then divide that by 3.14.
You are a brilliant goofball.
Thanks for the tips and tricks. I love your videos and have learned a lot from you.
that double sided tape trick is actually brilliant!
I've used that trick for aluminum foil tape too!
Wow! This is by far the best Tips and tricks video I have ever seen! Every one of these guys are keepers. Thanks a million for posting, I found it to be very helpful. Great video of these techniques !!! Thank you for posting
Always the best tips on the interwebs!
I choked on my coffee with the 'mining for pine' bit
That was great. Thanks for the laughs and tips.
You are the MAN, thanks so much.
The domino gag was so so so painful
I've seen worse ways to use a Domino's pizza. . . Like eating it!
Take some ibuprofen. It'll be ok.

The airstream reno has driven him mad.
@@mariebagwell6314well rounded assessment. 😂

I'm so happy your almost at 1 million subs. You deserve it! Keep up the great work!
Old Grand-dad bonded is a fantastic budget bourbon!
Thanks for all the great tips. The "Pine Mining" was particularly helpful!!
Love your whole "learning while entertaining" approach". Picked up a lot of great information while LMAO. Thank you.
Some excellent suggestions. I use vise grips instead of channel lock - same effect, grip smaller stubs. Love the rabbet + template hole enlarger. The total boat epoxy filler - new info! Thanks for (most of) the video.
My favorite is the tea in the bourbon bottle.
Love to see the outtakes of this one😂 You couldn’t have slid over the table just once.
Some very slick tricks. Thank you for the training session.
Well, I'm off. Pine-mining.
Loved the router tip, tnx!!
Do love a bit of talent with the right amount of crazy. Thanks for brightening up my Saturday afternoon. 😁
You get me with that graveyard thing. Hell of a good laugh. Thanks.
Bro. You are freaking awesome. Keep up the humor, please. Subscribed!
love your videos, keep up the good work
Thanks for the tip with the mini router sled! I needed that for a cutting board so I didn't have to plane down the whole piece again!
Great video. Very helpful tips
Love both the router tips! Wish I’d known the nut filler trip for when I was doing some outdoor benches too. Those knots for pain in the butt and I definitely did not use the right product for it.
You had me in a brief state of shock with the whiskey bottle! Appreciate the tips and tricks
man..... you crack me up whilst educating me!!! lol. Thanks mate!
Great video and some new tips that I've not seen before. Thanks Jason and employee :)

you got me with the headlight attached to the sender. nice, very nice one !
Finally!!!!! Thanks Jason.
I normally don't watch tips and tricks videos, because most of them are stupid. But I picked up some good ones here. That tip with the Iced Tea was brilliant!
I find the stupid tips and hacks vids are very good for clarifying my thinking about why we don't do it like that.

I hope the rest of that pizza was enjoyed. Broke my heart to see pizza being wasted. Can you tell it's been a while since I've had a slice? LOL
Always entertaining Jason
Both your router tips were great!!! To get diameter ( 16:48 ), you could wrap a string around to get circumference and divide by pi
Use blue tape. Works better than string.
Isn't there a risk with string that the circumference you're measuring isn't perpendicular to the cylinder's edge, and is therefore longer than the cylinder's true circumference?
I guess tape solves that problem since it'll only go on flat.

Thank God for this channel, refreshing, funny and educational....this is the best TH-cam channel hands down.......FAF......😅😅😅😅😅💯💯💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥lmao
The domino skit has me rolling. 😂😅 I needed that today Jason. Thx for the belly laughs throughout this video. 😊
Good info. Thanks for sharing.
Thankyou for the tips and video
Love your videos! Suggestion for measuring diameter > > measuring tape used for sewing only a couple of bucks at Walmart.
You got me with Dominos. Haven't laughed so much since you demonstrated blowing Titebond into a crack.
Love the reclaimed pine!
Great tips, and the domino bit was the funniest thing I've seen in your channel.
Measuring tip: Wrap a string around the item you are trying to measure and mark the length. Put that against your tape measure to get the circumference, divide that by pi to get the diameter, and divide that number by 2 to get the radius...

Jason! Thanks for sharing and entertaining! 🙂😂
This had me literally laughing out loud here at work. Thanks for this!
😂😂😂 this is one of the funniest ones yet!
Loved it. 🤠🤠🤠 Thanks Alf
Oh damn the cemetery was awesome hahaha
That little "router sled" trick for the epoxy is way slick. Great tip
Damm I gonna go mine some pine at the park in my neighborhood, heck I rarely see anyone in there, and most of the good stuff has flowers over it! Thanks Jason
Who knew that Dominos were so versatile!!! This is the very reason I watch this channel!!!!😎🤪
Good job Jason, good job...

9:18 best tip only tip I'll probably use 😅
For years I've been using vice grips the same way you were showing with the channel locks. Thanks for the tips.
Bro, you always make me smile 😊😊😊
Love the ice tea bit 😂
Oh my gosh -- Mining for Pine--😄😄😄😄😄
That domino tip, while maybe not the best example of fine woodworking, was, in fact, the best example I've seen of using a Domino's Pizza.
"everybody hates sanding" 😂 I find it so relaxing, lol
Your best video ever!
That's the best use of Domino's pizza I've seen to date.
