Bought a 2015 v6s coupe with 10k miles. Put 5500 in a about 9 months. No problems at all, absolutely love it as a daily driver. Much more of a sports car feel than the R or v8s, the v6 suits it better Imo.
I had a 997 manual Turbo and now a F Type RWD 5.0 R and love it. It is full of character and is probably quicker than an SVR in a rolling race due to being lighter but with not much less power. The R is the one you should have bought.
I had Ftype 5.0 running 585bhp. Hits 205mph comfortably. If you dont have the 5.0 v8 then it's more of an every day car rather than a Supercar/Sports car.
Must agree Tom have owned a far few cars but the F-Type SVR is the way to go, still puts a massive grin on my face after nearly 2 years of ownership (16000 miles) and unless I wanted to throw another £100,000 at a car still nothing around IMHO that ticks all the boxes this car does. All the best in your search for the next car though ;)
Looking forward to the next car. Something in me says it could be an i8 roadster, a 981-gen Cayman GTS or a 991 911. I could be completely wrong but that's part of the fun ;-)
Love this car I might go for one after owning the XE. Just wanted to know did you have gravel rash around the wheel arch? I the film protection on my XE on the front and the arches it works well but cost £500
Yeah but he did t own one. It’s just my real life view. Take it or leave it. It’s a great car. Has many many pluses. Yes the v6 is a good engine. Chassis ia good and overall a smashing car. But the V8 just brings it to another dimension and really does make the car an animal. But the v6 is way more accessible and usable as a daily. Interesting jag have dropped the v6 in favour of the 2.0.
Oh no! Devastated! Looked & Looked & Looked.... for one special car in my lifetime, for YEARS! Suddenly realised the F-Type was it, the only car I found, at any price, with such soul & character, like Harley or Triumph. I really enjoy your vids & wish you well...thank you...
Had my F type 3 Jan 2019 , Ecu fault so didn't pick up till a week later, then water in both headlights, no Review camera so had to retroactively fit one but there was 4 1/2 from red stop line to fence! Then no hands free phone, to list a few things! So after 350 miles I told them to have the car back, that's 3 1/2 weeks only. What a game to hand back! Shame.

Thank you for the update. It was fun following you and learning about the f-type (my next car). Good luck on your next car.
I’ll miss it it was awesome just time for a change.
You said how outdated this car is in March 2019 and yes i am buying this car in 2020 and still think it is awesome.

Agreed. And I think that’s a shame. It lacks the sense of occasion in the v6 compared to the v8.

How many miles did you clock up?
I did say something n the video. Think it was about 12-15k. Not masses really. Wanted to keep it sub 20k for residules

No gravel rash. Defoe you consider a V8 coupe. Awesome bit of kit.
Convertibles in the uk are for Knob-Jockeys
Do you like yours then. ;)

What’s your concern? It’s a good get not really an out and out sports car.
