You are correct about the drill adapter. It attaches to a drill and the ball bearings are designed to hold a screw onto the bit as you drill it in. The one I have has different bits that can be swapped out for phillips and straight slot screws.
Great find for a great price! I think the thing at the end would hold a flag of some sort and you could clamp it onto a vehicle. Like maybe it just held a red flag to attach to the end of a long thing being hauled in a truck or trailer???
Nice, Phil. The slip joint pliers are probably Vlchek. Yesterday I found the 22" version of this box but no tools in it for... $10. It's in pretty good shape and I had to read the price tag 3 times to be sure. There is an indoor flea market in East Durham I saw on the way to Howe Caverns so I had to stop on the way home and at a couple other yard sales where I got an almost new Porter Cable brad nailer for $10 too! Several other items at both and a good haul from an estate sale the day before made my weekend. Can't wait for you to show everyone your other Jacktown finds. George
This afternoon on break at work I picked through some of the rustyness I keep there to clean up and low and behold the SAME slip joint pliers! I probably have more in the hoard but I'm going to go look...lol
Probably the best $10 spent at Jacktown!!! Awesome!!! 😃👍

Thanks for the info

Lovely little toolbox, Great haul 🛠👍😊
I'm always looking for that cheap tool box full of stuff. You got a good one, with some pretty cool stuff. Nice haul.
Great find!
Nice box for $10. Lot of goodies hidden in there. Hatchet might be a Woodings Verona? The little robo grips priceless.
Thats quite a deal for ten bucks! The tool box itself is worth it to me. Sorry I missed the meet up. I was caught up shopping in the back.
Pretty good score. There were a lot of pieces there......Heavy box

Notice the tool box is metal? No big plastic tool boxes until 1990s??
Looks like someone's tool box from 1970.
