Well it was a mixed day at the flea market. We got a good score and a bulk buy of rusty tools. Was it worth the money we spent? #fleamarket #tools #secondhand
Great value for $20. The knife you said you’d use for splitting wood is a hack knife. It is as intended. Mostly used by glaziers to hack old putty etc. Also useful for batoning wood.
Thank you for these videos George👍 i think we your viewers really look forward to these! If more people could be satisfied with these simple constructive hobbies we would all be so much better off😎 ill shut up now 🙃
Quite a haul George. A few years back you could get those ratcheting screwdrivers free with a coupon at Harbor Freight. I love the PBR can bank! Good stuff!
Thanks Mr. Bill!! I didn't know that about Harbor Freight. I just know they always want my number. i thought they were flirting. Turns out it's just a reward program.🤣🤣
I think about this all the time. When tools are branded or better still dated, they are fun to collect. Like Coleman Lanterns and Schwinn Bicycles....very easily dated so it sparks more interest.
Georges weekly flea market bulk buy sections nice , way better than the wrenches , you got a lotta good stuff there for the £20 dollars .... $50 ?!?! Who spends that much on a vice 😂😂😂😂😂😂 great flea haul mate .
Good haul, I love going through tools like that tub full. Like Forrest said you never know what you will find. Nice reed, it will keep you busy for a while. Have a good week.
Thanks Mr. Dale! It's like a mystery box! You really never know what's in them! The Reed will be a good project for sure. You have a good week to Brother.
Good haul. Looks like a nice selection of resealable items and some fun projects. Those reed utility vises put almost every other home utility vise to shame (exception for any starrett models) the 25 is one some collectors go after as it is rarer. Should be able to flip that one for $100-150 after restoration
Those old files would make fantastic knives. That old knife would be good to use as a chopper in the kitchen. I think that "funky" wrench is an old can opener.
My buddy came by and picked up the stuff i put in the scrap pile. he decided to keep them as tools.I'll be saving some of that kind of stuff for another buddy of mine to use on his projects.
Nice haul Super George. Soak that resale pile in some magic juice, hit em with the wire wheel and they will make most of your money back. The vise is cool, can't wait to see what you do with it.
Great video George. I love buying the lots like your big tote there. Just searching for the one cool tool(s) that make it worth it is fun, like treasure hunting. Glad you found a few and made it worth it. I love Reed vises and that #24 is going to look awesome. You must paint it. 🤣🤣🤣
Hey Fred!! I knew you'd like that tote. It's always fun digging through them you never know what treasure is hiding! As for the vise I already know what I'm gonna do........😉😁
"A whole bunch of rusty crap I don't need." Haha that's the stuff I live for man! Nice pickups and that vice is really cool. Some unique oddities in there as well. That was a cool tool haul!
The REED vise is sweet and the price was OK. The tote of rusty stuff was a good pick. I am sure you enjoyed going thru it, and you kept enough items to have paid less than 50 cents each! Plus I enjoyed watching it! 👍😀👍😁
Thanks Buddy! The vise I am OK with the price since i don't see them that often around here. It's always fun going through bins like that. Got enough keepers and enough to resell so I'm happy with it. Glad you enjoyed it. Clean out your car yet? 🤣🤣
george it's a good haul you never know what name is under the rust let us know what the wooden handle hammer is. thatnk god you didn't throw that one pipe wrench out it's an old one as for the other it could have been saved but it's your choice another vise aleast it's not an athol don't need to see you break a tool on it good vid👍P.S. almost winter god i miss snow
Hey Ronald! I started cleaning some of those up, found a pair of Williams pliers. A first for me. I'll let ya know what I find on that hammer. Maybe we'll do a vid and find out together. ps I love the snow but not ready yet, I'm a plumber and drive snow plow so winter is my busy time. We are starting into leaf season..looks like it's gonna be a lot this year.
I look forward to your tool hauls, not finished it as I’m out drinking cider, I’ll finish watching later 😂. I cleared out a work shed this morning, and it’s got tool haul video all over it 😊
Haven't seen those wooden nickels in a long time. One dollar is a good deal. Pabst bank is a cool item and the lunch box with the mini grease gun. 👍🏻 Reed vise with those really bold letters is a beauty. All that and the tub of tools was a good Flea Haul.😂
Not to bad the vise may have been a little pricey not sure depends on how bad you need one then 50 dollars becomes pretty cheap especially if you buy new hope your back gets to feeling better I was in a car wreck broke 4 ribs on my left side hairline fracture on my left hip and my back was pretty messed up I healed up good for the most part just took my back all of them 3 years to get better so when I hear someone talk about hurting their back I cringe take it easy bro
Hey Don, The vise was a bit pricey but not too bad. It's a reed that i don't find very often and honestly It may end up a keeper. I got a bad back but I'm a working man so what are ya gonna do? It'll be alright. Thanks brother. take it easy we'll catch up soon.
Hey George , I was wondering if you are gonna get rid of those files and the wood chisels if you shoot me a price I would definitely be interested in buying them Unfortunately I live in Minnesota so you will have to send them to me I will be using there steel for my axe and tomahawk bits
Great value for $20.

The two hammers and SK ratchet, everything else was free 🛠👍😊
Thanks Jim! I don't know buddy I see a box of tools cheap and I gotta know what's in there. I know right ....who pays that much for a vise.😁
Sounds right to me😄@@Everythings_Adjustable

Thanks Daniel, I like a Reed and who knows the market is so weird lately. It may end up being a keeper. We'll see.
