Good stuff George! I like the rusty boxes, but I'm weird that way. The grungier the better - makes it more rewarding to see the finished product! Looking forward to the next video! Best, Bill.
Great haul! Lots of great items for great prices! The vise is very cool. I have seen many small ones of that similar style of construction, but never such a big one that clamps onto the bench like that.
George, you find some super great deals in you area. I wish i was so lucky here where I live. Can not wait until you start showing when you start working on them. Thanks for the video
Hey Jack, It's really hit and miss sometimes you just get lucky. We'll be working through these over the winter. I have to get a few materials for some and got a couple bigger projects that I want to do .
I love those saws.. I had one but no clue where it went. So I was pretty happy to find it for a couple of bucks. The b e set was a great personal find.🍻
Yeah I like that set of 1/4 inch sockets. Those boxes are cool. A while back I cleaned and repainted an SK box. Was difficult to find green "hammered" paint. I work in a Hardware store and we don't have a supplier for it now. Rustoleum and Hammerite make it. Can't find either except $50 cans. I think it's been discontinued. Quart cans are still out there but spray cans are hard to find under $50. Hoping you have better luck. Great video, thanks.
Hey Mike, Well I guess I won't be asking you for a paint hook up. LOL. I will have to just pay up for the paint but I guess that's O.K. I have a few to do.
Hey Hound! Tool Hound that is...man you can sniff out the tools!! Great haul! The tag is Awesome! Like u now that im.looking for them I can't find one.. its crazy how that works! The vise is sweet and can't wait for the sk box restrotation! Good stuff Brother!!!
Why.. Thank You, Thank You. I can't believe that those tags are so hard to find now. I'm pretty excited to get those boxes done up and looking right again.
Well the storage boxes are great , can see the reason you bought the flashlight ,red diamond seems to be featuring on a lot of the channels lately ! Nos gun oil - love it . Never seen a Barnes f wrench and for 25 c wonderful , what wooden handles are you looking for I have some like that somewhere ... bit sets are always a great buy , forsner I couldn't pass that by either ,what a nice day George , BE stuff by craftsman sells for loads over here , niiiiiice vise !!!!! Best gotta be that vise lol .
Thanks Jimothy, great to hear from ya. You must be putting in the hours haven't seen you in forever. Great to see you on here. Thanks for always having the best comments.
george the hammer is cool it still has that old school paint job on it very cool the craftsman 1/4 set even better never heard of be nice to learn something new now you have a full set. both vises are cool those boxes need a good soaking see you later brother👍P.S. thanks for the vid saw my mom for the last time today no longer with us😢 this vid helped
Ronald ,we are so sorry to hear that. If there is anything we can do just let us know. you can reach me at officialuwannawatch gmail. This was a good batch of finds and well honestly I don't know what else to say. Take care and see you soon. Seriously send me an email if you want.
that means so much but i'm good after being her care giver for 5 yrs. it was'nt a suprise i'm just tired and hurt but thanks to guys like you i will be okay thank you🙂@@Uwannawatch
The clamp on vice looks like a Korean made one I have but is twice the size and looks much stouter. I think mine is a knock off of whatever that one is. The drill press vice and steel boxes are quite cool.
What a haul and such good deals. That BE set of sockets is sweet and when you clean it up and add your pieces, you have something really special. For some reason I think the vise is my fav. I'm doing a vise right now so kinda into them at the moment. That one just looks kinda art deco to me which was such a cool time in history. looking forward to that resto and can't wait to see what you drag home next week!
Thanks Fred! Not as good as what you were showing off the other day! I like that vise too. It's pretty different than the others I have. Excited to see what you're working on.
I don’t like clamp-on vices, but this one has holes so it could be screwed to a bench top, that’s neat. Has some style to it, too: looks a little Art Deco-y, I like it. The machine vice is great value as well. I’ve watched a few tool haul videos over time, and 14 mm metric wrenches pop up a lot in the US, which always surprises me. 14 mm is not an ISO or DIN standard size, but I was a little too confident about that once before: I didn’t count in car manufacturers, who like to do their own thing. Also, 14 mm seems to have been popular with European bicycle manufacturers. So I guess for a full set, you might as well look for every size between 7 mm and maybe 24 mm. After that, there are some gaps: I’m guessing 25 mm and 26 mm do exist, but shops typically don’t sell them - I’m thinking that’s to avoid confusion, because it’s too close to 1 inch (25.4 mm). Imagine you bought a Bobcat in Europe and you needed to take the wheels off: a 25 mm wrench is _just_ too small, a 26 mm wrench will round all the nuts off: frustration guaranteed. 3/4 inch is no problem, because that’s easily close enough to 19 mm, and 1/2 inch might be the answer to the question why car makes chose to use 12 mm M8 bolts rather then the standard 13 mm M8: 1/2 inch is 12.7 mm, perhaps too close to 13. Sorry for waffling, the history is interesting to me. Buy of the day might actually be the metal boxes: nice boxes are just great. I don’t dream of a laboratory-style workshop with large drawers and foam inserts at all, I prefer a shop that looks more like a collection. The plastic bins are unbeatable in price, but I bet they will live inside a cabinet and won’t be out in the open: bright red plastic is usually not your thing.
Waffle away! That's what makes these videos actually fun and interesting is the conversations. My work shop was never intended to be a display place. Function is first. I need to be able to build a table as easy as cleaning a vise/vice. The reason I picked up that vise is it's different. The red bins will be put in my other shop where I store my over flow of tools and future projects. . Thanks for all the information and feedback you bring. I really do appreciate that.
I don’t recognize the vise. Looks like 3” jaws. Stanley victor made similar if smaller but without the anvil and Prichard hole. Look forward to the restoration
Nice haul my favorite is the craftsman BE set but I couldn’t help to notice them SK green handle screwdrivers them are some Gems and not easy to find I have 2 of the little flat head 1/8 tips found about a year apart guess I got lucky as far as getting the same size wrenches I do that a lot I keep picking up 9/16 1/2 double open end wrenches lol I don’t mind though for they all are different brands and I use them sizes a lot
Hey Don. Lol, I have several different brands that I'm trying to complete the sets of. It is so annoying that I feel like I keep finding the same sizes that I don't need. I love my SK screwdrivers. They are out there but man they are hard to find.
@@Uwannawatch it’s always the last couple you need to complete a set that gets ya you’ll find them I have faith 16 mm is what I think you said you need if I find one I’ll let you know and send it your way
11mm, 12mm, 16mm Proto Challenger......Note to self. (Now watch...it will be raining motorcycle license plates but Proto will go the way of the Labrador Duck)

just out of curiosity where in nwew Jersey are you fom and what flea marjets do you go to, i am in Phila and go to flea markets all over the area, One of my favorites is the big one in Englishtown NJ if ou have ever been there
I'm in South Jersey. Columbus is the big market and it is always a good spot for picking. I haven't been to Englishtown in a while. last time I was there it was full of new stuff.
We got cheap tools but we pay up for everything else! Pickings are getting a little slim with the holidays coming up...Starting to see more decorations and crafty type stuff.
@@Uwannawatch I'm just always blown away when I see what Americans are paying for tools. Im near Toronto and any tool that's old here is considered "vintage" and has a big premium on it. Thanks Man I truly appreciate you watching and commenting. I was just talking to another guy up your way and he said the same thing to me. But we're super jealous because we don't have Canadian Tire!@@carpentryfirst3048
I used to go to estate sales until people were running over each other to get at everything. It made me sick. Cant do it anymore. I guess I'm too spiritual. I always viewed it as whoever owned this before me would be happy that whoever rummaged through their stuff would put it to good use. Then I realized people were just flipping it. Disrespecting the dead is bad karma my friends.
Agree 100% about the Karma. I usually just shop at the flea markets in my area. Most of what I bring home gets kept for my collections or traded to the other guys who are trying to fill out their collections. The main thing I sell is vises. Keeps money flowing for the shop.
Great video and some great tools and i think the vice is outstanding Thanks for sharing your time Thanks George 🍺🍺👍👍
Thanks Brian. I think I'm going to paint that vise green. Do you like green?🍺🍺🍻
Hahaha 👕👕
Good stuff George! I like the rusty boxes, but I'm weird that way. The grungier the better - makes it more rewarding to see the finished product! Looking forward to the next video! Best, Bill.
Thanks Mr. Bill. Well these boxes have plenty of grunge.! I can't wait to get them all redone and put my SK in them.
Great haul George love the boxes can't wait to see the restoration
Thanks Brother. I'm really excited to do them. I'm gonna have to wait for the paint.

Cool finds Super George! I think the Craftsman drill press vise, the Craftsman 1/4" set and box and the sewing awl were all great finds.
Thanks Captain Ivan! I think the 1/4" set is the most special.
Yes sir. Will definitely be nice with your uncles tools in it.
I love the vices especially the Craftsman machinist vice. Also the Craftsman BE socket set. Overall you SCORED BIG TIME!!!
Thank you Brother. I was quite pleased with these finds.
Great haul, love it all George 🔨👍😊

Great buys! I try to collect Craftsman Cicle H tools. Love those little Craftsman socket sets.
Thanks Brother, I don't find a lot of the older Craftsman stuff. This set is pretty special for me and I'm grateful to have it.
Another good day at the flea market... pays off to get there early 😉😁
Yes it was a good day indeed. That's the key is to get there early.
