As per the owner, this was done about 10 or 11 years ago as he did compete in the car show circuit locally. A nice project and build that he now plans to use often on the streets rather than park it up. So naturally a rebuild is needed and some long overdue check ups and ofcourse see if we can improve some things and perhaps make a good surprise on the dyno after.
It runs Drag Cartel cams and Toda style ITB that we will look further into and proceed to doing some revamp and improvements.

Yes sir. We’re boosting mine this year. We got the engine and tune perfect. Put a flex fuel kit on had it retuned and wiring done from the original builder and sponsor. Mad scientist auto. I’m running e85 and the car starts first crank in 20 degrees. It’s took four year to get this far. I’d love to have a head done by you guys.

@@SRDmotorsports I pretty much have to. These guys in the daily driver class in no prep are all double my hp minimum. Last race was against a boosted trans am with the Chevrolet ls . I had him all the way till the last 50 feet. I should be able to get into the sixes in 620 Ft with the set up were going with. And also still be able to drive it to work lol Eric Jarvis is awesome tuner . It’s all in the tune on daily driving abilities. Tuning isn’t a one and done process. It takes a lot of data logging etc. I’m learning so much I. This sport. Everyone I race with are all doubting me keeping up. But I believe in my import. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

I think the Drag Cartel camshafts have markings on the lip of the cam journal on the cam seal side

@@findtherightbeat this has an OG Brodeth header was wondering if a lot more interest would come and we will pull it out of the car (still connected to the exh we left it lol)
Can still mock it up here and study further for sure
@@SRDmotorsports An idea for content would be to examine the design, but I'm not sure as Luis might prefer his header dimensions to be kept private

Nice video. Why does it look like the cover was painted with red wall paint.
I believe it was powder coated metallic blue originally and then they years after just sprayed vht wrinkle red for the R 😂

hard to tell madalas Wiseco rings are thinner so it won’t work
