- Now we assemble the whole bottom-end, we take care of the pistons
install it and get it ready with you guys.
Crankshaft was installed last episode with ACL race bearings, K20 typeR oil pump and all the goods
So now we install the rest like pistons etc

Been a while since I've looked at your vids, just getting a lot of side jobs these days, I'm gathering parts for my engine, getting some bubbles in the overflow 😢
Oh man take it easy… atleast those symptoms isn’t detrimental yet, might still buy you time by driving lightly, do check on a diff radiator cap that might help a bit too
@SRDmotorsports I've changed the cap already and no difference, guess I'll try a slightly higher pressure and this car has a personality of its own, you how Honda engines just love to rev and you're not even giving it 1/4 throttle 😩

Just curious, how much quench do these pistons have?
Piston sits around 0.015” and HG is 0.026” 😎

I just installed pistons with new rings and I can hear a slight scraping noise from the piston - I took it out, and the rings and cylinder wall look good - is this just a normal sound for new rings contacting the de glazed wall?
I was expecting total silence and totally smooth movement - instead I get a light scraping and slightly rough movement, but still easy to rotate...
Hope this is just normal - please help!

@@pingpong9656 check the later ones the b16 months ago or the d16s not last year videos I mean I showed the same but the ones with new hone are always audible even the latest k20 u can hear it
