Thank you for these grounding exercises. “Stay in Today” is a common A.A. Cliché, and this helps with that immensely. I appreciate what you add to this world. Namaste.
Your channel is precious. Only discovered it recently and have been following your exercises a couple of times already. Your voice and your demeanor are so calm and trustworthy… this just really works for me. Thank you so much 😊🙏
Thank you 🙏🏻 Please consider making a longer video guiding on sleep advice. Vagal exercises are the only thing that helps me so far. My sleep seems to be demand avoidant.
Ahhhhhhhmazing! I have been unable to get that awful instant panic mode to stop. I’ve been hyper-aware and it causes horrible surges of adrenaline. It’s been on 24/7. This helped so much. I’m looking to do your Vagus Nerve exercises, as well. 🥰🙏🏽
Once again Kyle, you’ve given us an excellent video with another fantastic exercise that really helps! Thank you so much my friend, I truly appreciate you and your expertise! ❤
Thank You loved it, i think it was the other day. that i was thinking about the four elements and had to actually look it up and here I go to put you on for the second time and about the four elements and bringing it into the body for relaxation. I love it thank you.
Thanks :) ❤ My hearts been going tight lately when I think about my past. I just wanted to say loved your video and the body approach! One thing though the fire 🔥 one was a little too fast. I didn't quite get to thinking about all the senses quickly enough.
You're welcome, and thank you for the feedback. It's much appreciated. I am still learning some editing skills.. a new video in the next few days, I think, has some better timing. Lots for me to learn 😊
Thank you for the flattering comment! And yes, it can work. However, sometimes it might not - then I'd say check out some of my other videos that would be for a panic or anxiety attack.
Love how you incorporate digestion visualization/saliva in stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system! Physical and emotional interplay is so important!
Hi, thanks for your video. I'm very new to vagus nerve exercise. After practice according to this video, near to the end I feel heavy and a bit sad ... (while imagine and scanning my body). I'm not sure is this normal? And is that means anything?
You're welcome! Although, I can't provide any information on your specific situation, it's not unusual that when we engage our "calming system" AKA the parasympathetic nervous system through this exercise, it opens room for a wider range of emotion to be possible. Whereas before, our "defence" systems can block the space for these emotions. Wishing you the best.
Please, make your videos more often! Your videos are very motivating and you have a great expertise, and they do work. They help a lot with anxiety conditions. And your voice is really nice and calming. Sending all the best to you😘😘😘
Good question, and they're likely going to have a link. I'll talk about intrusive thoughts in another video I'm making and it's link to the body and vagus nerve. All the best!
These are also great! I love listening to your videos and I do some of this stuff. I am not sure if you thought of it but it would be great if you posted these on sporty or iTunes like a podcast. Sometimes it's just easier when outside on our phones to up the "added benefit"
Thank you. But I have been in a stressful place for several years (chronic pain, financial stresses, bad environment) and CANNOT picture or feel the calm places in my past.
You're welcome 😊 and good point, lots of ppl can relate to this. You can slowly try a calm place, or somewhere that's been peaceful, or even just somewhere neutral with the absence of. Any will do. Hope this helps!
Your channel is aptly named. You are incredibly calming. Thank you.
Awe thank you 😊
not my first Vagus nerve Videos, but your channel is really really amazing, Thank you so much

Hai, this is a question from a mother. Do you know if intrusive thoughts or pure ocd has something to do with nervus vagus? Thanks
Good question, and they're likely going to have a link. I'll talk about intrusive thoughts in another video I'm making and it's link to the body and vagus nerve. All the best!
@@CalmwithKyle Thanks again. My son is struggling at the moment. He has also B12 deficiency. 20 years, and 3 years at home. So sad

The vagus nerve, the nerve that gets triggered when you just realize you're back too much money at the crap table
You bet. The Calm app? I'm not associated with that one and I don't have an app, yet :)
Let me know in the comments if you use similar or different tools that were in this video to help feel calm, centred and connect to your Vagus Nerve!

Ahh strangely my belly doesn't move either way?
Too long. Get to the point.
There's a link to skip to the exercise in the description. Every video I include this if people want to avoid the explanation.

Thank you Kyle. 🪻🪷🪻The after feeling was contentment and the breathing had slowed down and was light.👌🏽
