I just started bawling, I can literally feel it coming up from deep within when you started speaking of what your body does....this is what happens to me when I see my surgeons or I speak about my broken body.... I need so much help and I feel so alone.
Failing out of physical therapy so many times.
It's so overwhelming and devastating that no one understands me nor wants to help me find what is causing me not to graduate physical therapy, and most importantly get back my life!
It's been a long five years.
I'm finally taking charge of me and finding such amazing people as you willing to help.
This is truly my last chance for any hope me..... Me finding TH-cam has literally saved me from myself 🙏
This is my second video, I am so appreciative of you.
And I am now subscribed 😊

When I need to calm down, I do something get out of my surroundings, walk or a task that requires physical movement also, I repeat positive things to myself over and over to distract myself from the thoughts that are upsetting me. It works most of the time.

When my anxiety comes up. I normally would lie down in the dark in silence and catch my breath, I use lavender and it helps me, I drink orange juice and it seems to help me too, I also take myself next to the AC on full blast and my other half puts a cold wet cloth on me to keep me cool.

    Brilliant advice Kyle.
    Thank you.
After many years of trying I have successfully learnt to control this problem.what are your views on breathing to a wrist watch second hand!
I start off at 5 seconds in and 5 seconds out.
The calmer I get the better it gets and I breathe once a minute and often fall asleep.
It may not be suitable for everyone but I was in a very bad way.

    • @CalmwithKyle
      @CalmwithKyle  ปีที่แล้ว +1

That's a wonderful strategy if you've found it works for you! Very creative. I like the visual part of it too especially following the second hand speed it may require us to slow ourselves down. Good stuff!

Good morning I love your videos. I am struggling a lot with anxiety and trauma for 50 years. And would like to find some videos that can help me struggle less. Any suggestions?
I have been using regularly the last month the videos for vagus and it has helped a lot.
Should I use Calm or using only YOU Tube ? I lost my job so subscribing to different apps that cost money are difficult to do lately. Thanks a lot and have a good day

    • @CalmwithKyle
      @CalmwithKyle  ปีที่แล้ว

Awe thank you for commenting. I'm glad they're helpful. I think you're onto a good start. When available, trying to see an experienced trauma therapist would be beneficial. If you have a family doctor, perhaps a referral from them so that it can help with the cost? That'll probably depend on the area you live in though.
Sorry I can't be more of a help but glad my videos are beneficial. Wishing you the best. 😊

Hello, is it not cheating the body vwhen there are bad big stressors needing to be solved , to then relax?? I mean, having adequate bodily stress responses of things being seriously wrong, and cheat the brain of being heard by just relaxing instead ? I know onw must sve energy, but still. After relaxing the solution is not thought of anymore, since exhaustion has taken over. Need individual stress help/ counselling.

    • @CalmwithKyle
      @CalmwithKyle  ปีที่แล้ว +3

Hi Claudia, valuable points. It is important for your body to experience the stress response when going through big events. This video is more about when those events continue to have an effect on us and these tools may help in those moments. Of course, please seek out further advice from your doctor. Healthcare provider or counselor. Wishing you the best!

What is humongous and a "lower base heart.rate"? I yhave had very slow heart beatys and rbreathe as though I were deeply asleep, from triple burnout and sleep deprivation. Still anxious, aroused and stressed, fearful. IDK what to do now, aLonely too much.

    I DIE INSIDE.
THE PAIN IS UNCEASING AND UNBEARABLE.
I LIVE IN A STATE OF PERPETUAL TRAUMA AND PANIC.
    I CAN'T BREATHE.
    I DON'T BREATHE.
I could die from the pain of missing my best friend.
Or, actually, not really my best friend,
but they guy whom I thought was my best friend...
    He betrayed and abandoned me,
    discarded me like garbage!!!
    (HOW THE FUCK COULD HE?)
    Replaced me for another.
My mind can't fathom, my heart can't comprehend.
I live in perpetual panic and constant longing...
How could he not miss me?
How could he do this to me?
Did he just replace me, really, just like that?
I'm dying inside. My soul is truly raped
    and my heart is shattered.
    REMINDER TO SELF, SWEET SOUL:
    This was a karmic friendship,
meant to be there for a limited time (17-months-ish)
    to teach you, about yourself!
    About boundaries, about self-love,
    about self-respect, about self-worth, etc...
About a whole plethora of magical, juicy, alchemical things!
The universe, God, your guides, your ancestors, have pushed you, lovingly,
in the right direction: into your own magnificent powerful magical freedom!
When you let go. The universe will catch you. It’s talking to you.
Let go of everything and trust the universe. It’s within you. ✨💫
    Jesus said to her: “Mary.”
    She turned toward him
and cried out, in Aramaic, “Rabboni!”
(which means Teacher) - John 20:16💖
    NOTE TO MY TWIN FLAME:
Dearest twin flame, I’m working on myself,
I am being 100% healed, on evert level, in every way.
This is my purification process. I am doing this for me, for you, for us.
I’m proud of myself, and I’m getting ready for you. I love you.
