I can confirm from my experience that Rypstick does produce positive results; however, you will need a device to measure your club head or the Rypstick swing speed if you want to know and track your actual progress.
I get what some say about laying up to your favorite shot but that doesn't mean I'm not going to mishit the next one, or even the layup shot which compounds things.
Ok laying up is not a comparison between 80 yards and 60 yards. Its the difference between all those bushes, trees, water, weeds, etc that you bring into play hitting the 3 wood vs hitting the 6 iron.
Yes! At my course, the first holes you lose shots on are ALL our par 3s, despite them being really difficult holes. They claim this is based on stats, but how can I challenge this? It just doesn't check out .. Great vid Michael.😅 PS - I've taken your advice and hit driver as much as possible.
Everyone should remember that these are averages and not many people are actually average across the board. The trick to using these stats is to know your own game (but know it factually and not anecdotely.)
@@wickedsmartgolf I’d like to be around 12 by this time next year. 100% confident that it will happen. Been working on my course management and it’s having an effect.
This is great, but … I can mis-hit a wedge as well as a 5-hybrid, or a 5-wood. And I’m probably not as consistent with a full wedge than I am with a chip or a pitch closer to the green And I hit away from trouble (bunkers and water) and end up hitting from rough (nasty rough) almost every time. Playing away from trouble doesn’t make this game any easier. ☝🏻Playing from the short grass does - a 14 handicap

I feel this in my bones.
I have a mental block on par 3’s as a 0-3 hdcp. I can shoot 76 and i am 4 over on the par 3’s. 🤣. Just terrible.
Keep aiming at the middle, play one shot shape & take enough club. You got this!!!

Couldn’t agree more!!
18 handicap
Par 3 is 4.0
Par 4 is 5.4
Par 5 is 6.02.
What’s your handicap goal?
