      People should be mindful of midwife brew..remember the castor oil can cause the baby to also poop in utero and they can aspirate on it.

    Raspberry leaf tea promotes a healthy uterus, so really all it does is to make it easier for your uterus to do what it does naturally. This covers all normal healthy functions including postpartum recovery, and if you have difficult period pain each month it can help

    The easiest birth I have had out of three so far… I took really hot long showers 2-3 days before I was going to be induced. Such a low pain birth, active labor and very mild contractions. As soon as I got to the hospital I got epidural and baby was born 1 hour later. I was able to sleep through the night at home with the contractions. Also sleep while in active labor helps dilate very quickly!

    Maybe my comment will save time for someone in a similar situation. I have done all of those (also Acupuncture) starting 40 weeks and nothing worked except one. At 41 weeks and one day I got membrane stretch and sweep and went into labor at night. So, if you need to go into labor, just do what your midwife or doctor recommends.

My fasting sugars went from the 90s to the 70s, in the third trimester too, when it's supposed to get worse. They're amazing!

    Hi! I’d like to know if you have a video on cholestasis diet. I only see for gestational diabetes.

    I am actually 42 weeks and 6 days today...tomorrow will be 43 weeks. I have no idea if I am dilated. I am working with a midwife and will have the baby at home. I've tried most of the tips you've suggested since around the time of my due date. I've been exercising throughout my pregnancy. I've been doing the Miles Circuit off and on and stretching as I am a yoga and fitness teacher...I've still been teaching class and working out. I've done nipple stimulation...straight up both nipples the same time...nothing. We've had sex several different times. I've been pressing the acupressure points. I've been bouncing on a ball off and on. At this point I'm getting close to 11 months pregnant lol...I'm going to give birth to a llama over here. I am going to have to look into finding some castor oil, clary sage, and some raspberry leaf tea. I do have some dates and I just bought some cherries.

    I have been diagnosed with cholestasis and i will also be induced after 2 weeks. But i want to naturally go into labour. I’ll do all these things and see if this works out for me.

    Should all of these tips be tried once you’re 37 wks? I’ll be 36 wks tomorrow but I am trying to naturally induce since I am aiming for a VBAC.

    I've been doing all of these since 37 weeks. I've been 1cm dilated for a month and I'm 80% effaced and nothing has worked 😔 I have colon problems so it hurts when baby moves. The only thing I didn't try really was pineapple and I can't because I have GERD (bad acid reflux) and had it BEFORE I got pregnant. Ugh, so frustrated. I'm 38 weeks on Sunday and I'm tired of crying from the pain 😫
    (Also, did not use castor oil as I mentioned, I have colon problems)

    Even though 37 weeks is considered to be a full term, research shows that last 3 weeks are very important for the brain development/wiring. I do not understand why would someone induce labor at 37 weeks while it is better to let baby develop more.

  • @chrissiigossett5627

    I have had cholestasis with both my current pregnancy and with my oldest daughter 2 years ago. NOT fun, and I did a lot of your methods (just based on research) and they still had to give me pitocin but only a small dose given that I was already dilated, effaced, and having consistent contractions!

      @PregnancyandPostpartumTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m so sorry you have Cholestasis... it’s TERRIBLE! Second one should be easier too so mabye no pitocin this time. Sending you strength to get through this pregnancy. I bet you are excited to have baby out and healthy 💞

    Sorry for the bad English. But why do you all get induced so early? I meam at the hospital by your doctor? Like right around the due date or even earlier?

    • @Dakuusagi
      @Dakuusagi 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most of the time it's to prevent serious problems, usually when women get induced that early it was because of some medical condition they have developed
