    Watup, been riding for under a year and currently have a daytona 675. Never really was interested in cruisers until I saw the 109 and fell in love. I finally was able to sit on one and thought it was more bike than I needed. Then I sat on an m90 and never felt more comfortable in or on any vehicle. I plan on getting the 90 but coming from a 400lb sportbike and loving the handling, speed and agility I really don't know what to expect. The only cruiser ive ridden was the 250 at the msf course.

      @tuskegee87  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The M90 is a little lighter than the 109. It's riding characteristics are similar to the Honda Rebel 250 just heavier. You don't get as much lean angle on cruisers as you do sports bike so you will most likely scrap the pegs the first few times you ride it coming from a sport bike. You'll love it either way.

      Spacecoastz the 109 looked the best and has more power with more response. The selling point for me was the tank shape. The 109 tank was much more slim 5 comfortable against my thigh than the wide M90 tank. It cost more but I'm pleased.

    This is a great review. I like your sense of humor and you provide a lot of good information unlike some reviewers who keep talking about how folks ride big cruisers like this to compensate for there package size. Hey maybe its true for some folks but i wanted a feel for some of the differences between the 90 and 109 and i got that from this look. Thanks!!

    18:09 Always look out and use caution when near drivers with the "Washington Football Team" emblems on their cars. I live in the DMV and I can tell you, they are always driving dangerously. No Joke.
    Nice video by the way.

    I think it would suit someone up to 6.5 comfortably it sits low to the ground but the pegs give you some good leg room.

I owned a m109r telling you that "9" has baffles drilled out which makes it sound nice but not too loud. Ck out my channel Paulk master for m109r Buell vfr Cbr etc... Is the m90 just as loud as the m109?

    • @tuskegee87
      @tuskegee87  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      With the stock mufflers they're about the same. 109 being just a little deeper. With the mufflers off you can tell the difference.

    • @577buttfan

      I think the m109 would have a deeper pitch but it all depends on the pipes how loud they are an M50 is loud with straight pipes

    • @tuskegee87
      @tuskegee87  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      From what I remember, they're the same brake set up. I didn't really notice a difference. They're almost the same the plus minus 100 pounds

  • @evil03mustang08
    @evil03mustang08 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    The biggest difference between the 90 and the 109 is felt at full throttle. The 109 makes like 30+ more horsepower and has at least another 30ft. lb of torque. The 90 also only tops out around 120.

    • @evil03mustang08
      @evil03mustang08 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Additionally, this reviewer has not gotten that big 109ci lump up into its power band during this video... if he had, we’d have all heard the PAIR valve open and his OMFG response. The 109 might have tons of torque, but it also loves to rev.
      Ok yeah maybe I’m a 109 fanboy... my 90 is great, but it’s no 109.

    I want the c109rt myself. I rode the c90 2 years ago and enjoyed it. It is different going from a sportsbike to a cruiser. I thought the weight difference would bother me but it turned out once I was going I could not feel the difference. Hopefully, I get my new bike soon so I can give the busa some time off and maybe start doing more out of state rides.

    Is the M109R as easy to maneuver as the M90? As in parking lots and out on the road as well. I do want the M109R. I'm 58 195 ( bodybuilder) all that means is I'm in pretty good shape, not a couch potatoe. Thanks for a great video.

    • @tuskegee87
      @tuskegee87  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You should have no problem maneuvering the 109R. For me coming from the 450lb R6 to a 900lb bike you can tell the weight difference under 10mph. Between the M90 and 109R, you can't really tell the difference. You should be able to do a figure 8 without putting your foot down with the 109 in a 26'x15' box (a driveway pretty much). 2/3 of the way through the video I do a U turn in a parking lot near cars and it was easy to maneuver. Hopefully this answers your question.

    • @Grimexperience62
      @Grimexperience62 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      tuskegee87 it really does answer my questions. We get this perception of a bike that's a ball and chain to handle but with the Japanese bikes are always better handling than you anticipate. I'm tired of buying bikes that I really have no intention of keeping long term and I'm ready for the 109r. Thanks a lot , you have a lot of class and you got back to me quick. Thanks so much.

    • @tuskegee87
      @tuskegee87  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Grimexperience62 this is very true, one of the reasons why I wanted to do a review on this bike. If you're looking long term, I would say the 109R is it unless you find a Yamaha Raider their about the same in power, but the raider is a little lighter. I appreciate you taking time to review the video. Let me know if you have any other questions. "Stay vertical"
