The point of the hell gem injectors is to combo with the hell gem destabilisers so you can break blocks quicker since the hell gem destabilisers make blocks break really really quick but only work on blocks with hell gems in them.
I noticed that you can basically get away with ONLY needing one hell gem destabilizer per block so long as its got the hell gem in it. Pretty crazy combo as that frees up a hecking tone of space once you reorganize.
16:38 i think its remarkable how wanderbots has fallen right into the game developers trap. he has become so enthralled by the gameplay that whenever he gets a text from the MC's friend, its nonchalant and back to gameplay even when something as plot twisty as "these two are experiencing time differently" thats really funny to me. love this channel
Wander Definitely optimized his layout for his autoclicker, I just picked this up yeseterday and made similar progress with less clicking by optimizing for the entropy "auto Mine" buildings. Focuisng more on optimizing those and adding additional extractors as soon as possible allows you to get speed via scale.
Thanks for showcasing a cool new game, Wander! In an effort to save everyone's eyeballs, try clicking the flashlight icon at the bottom-left of the main menu to try out Dark Mode 😎
You really dont need 4 cooling channels on each mine. You're limited on how quickly the blocks are breaking not how fast they come up. If you got rid of 2 of the coolers youd be able to mine deeper faster
Watch the Material Streaming Tower be the one building that would have solved all your resource problems... And 64 is the number of small blocks in each big block.
I believe the material stream tower just makes the movement of resources quicker. So the time it takes for broken blocks to be counted in the resource totals or when you click a machine to supply resources the time it takes for them to move from the resource totals to the machine. So it's more of a build it if your bottleneck is moving resources around.
@@OreliaNaru yes! It also drastically minimizes the visual effects to making the streaming blocks turn into little particle rays. So it's not eating up your screen space.
The commentary was good, overall enjoyable but holy crap missing the gem injector + destabiliser combo made it feel like watching one of those fake game ads.
While this has a nice aesthetic, I feel like Gnorp Apologue was a much more fun game to watch. There seems to be very little player agency in this one so far.
53:59 "If you are playing this idly you would have a very good time with it" yes... but you can't. Because of the cost scaling and the efficiency requirements inherent in that that Silo can't be used to refill 1 building 16 times you are being forced to use it to refill 8 buildings 2 times (at least until the late mid game where things are needing refilled so fast that you are forced to use level 2 Silos with 64 charges just to keep pace) in other words the silos are just there to multiply your refilling clicks so you can refill more things a minute not give you idle game style breathing room. TL;DR This is not an idle game, it's incremental wack-a-mole
Please for the love of god reset the mines before 18.000 depth if not prepared. It just annihilates all but 64 hellgems so getting new stuff is just off the table for a worse 2-3 hours
So much white. Barely held out for five minutes. According to Steam comments: barely anything is automatable, i.e. even hours into the game you'd have keep clicking on the same stuff. (And it appears to me that the game doesn't even include auto-clicker.) Overall, 5 min into the vid, and I'm already disappointed.
Just got the game yesterday -- currently there's an early building you can get to hold the mouse instead of click -- this allows for extremly fast refilling by just passing your mouse over all the buildings or blocks. Additionally there are auto minors you get pretty early too. Resource silos make it so you only have to click on the silo which keeps things filled around it for a long time. So there is a way to mostly automate but it does take some work to get there. Definitely a bit of apuzzle solving game in that regard. Thankfuly there is also a building later that lets you refund most and then ALL resources used on a building-- allowing you to easily move stuff around without cost.

This is hell, so clearly light mode is to stay and inflict suffering
"Are you playing some weird game" Nice 4th wall break.
Not really into incremental games but the cat is _fascinated_

honestly I think you can get away with 1 maybe 2 coolers at most especially once you get into hell gems.
@@rocovailo2862 with hell gem injectors + destabilizers they actually break pretty quickly
Impressive that even an autoclicker needs *that long* to get through a block with a hell gem 😮
This game particularly contradicts the "do you fall asleep to my videos" as the white background absolutely is fucking with my eyes at mindight.
Wow, this is so slick.
I would definitely love seeing a second video of you and that weird cube!
Somebody scooped out your brain and hooked you up to their bitcoin mining rig

Seems interesting and fun.

Can confirm 32×32=1024. (As a programmer, I learned all of the first sixteen powers of two by heart.)
This game looks fun!
the autominers are no good when you use an auto clicker.
Love it can't Wait to see more ❤❤

I'm just saying... of course the auto miners look bad when you're literally using an autoclicker to break the blocks...
kinda defeats the purpose of early progression
YOU NEED MORE MINES NOT JUST 2

does it have dark mode?
Yeah in the bottom corner of the menu

Yikes
you can always turn the mines giving you that stuff off until your ready
What autoclicker are you using?
holy shit minecraft reference
the machines look like pc parts
Using an auto-clicker is a bit cheaty, but understandable for the start.
Yhea, all that white hurts my eyes lol

developer just included an auto-clicker on the beta version
there is also full automation, but that come super later into the game

@@rocovailo2862 a lot of people in these comments seem impatient. It takes some time but you 100% get near full automation eventually
