Hi there 👋 Dev here ! Thank you so much for playing the game, I'm enjoying every second of your gameplay. I love seeing how different players think around strategies to play the maps. You were one of the first ones in thinking about boosting the Central with the Overclocker ! Its a total valid strat to boost production :) I love your content, I really hope you enjoyed the game as much as I'm enjoying the gameplay!

Yeah, that 2 million tile was collecting the whole time. I was yelling TYLLERRRRR at the screen because after I noticed it, it was angering me. Thank god you found that I was hoping you would before the end of the episode
a good way to think about this game is to imagine trying to go as fast as possible. you are able to improve both velocity and acceleration, but in this video you mostly only focus on velocity (factory, central, park) instead of acceleration (accelerator, overclocker, investor). possibly one of the best moves you couldve done would be overclocking the investor
@@daviustariksson5682overclocker makes a tile do its function a bunch of times every however many cycles. By over clocking an investor you’re making the investor boost every factory/central on the board multiple times more frequently
I think the biggest things with this game may be: 1. Make sure you always do all of the addition first! (Because 2*2+2 < 2*(2+2)) 2. You never want adjacent buildings to give outputs with level 1 jumpers 3. You want your factories to be used by as many centrals as possible and you want your centrals to use as many factories as possible. Sharing is caring! This sounds like it should be complicated to figure out, but it isn't. Well, it isn't hard to find a decent pattern, its hard to find the optimal. All you need to do is realize that you really just want centrals to have upgrades, like the accelerator, orthononal on 3 sides with a jump on the 4th. You then want all diagonals to be factories. You then want all of those factories to be diagonal to as many centrals as possible. Its definitely an interesting matrix-esque problem. I just did a real quick calculation and found that a decent solution may be as follows. Key: Y = upgdade (eg accelerator), F = factory, C = Central, J = Jump, X = other (investor or any upgrades for upgrades). X Y C J C Y X Y F Y F Y F Y C J C J C J C Y F Y F Y F Y C J C J C J C Y F Y F Y F Y X Y C J C Y X Im sure there are better, but this does show the fun of the game! You're effectively trying to fit a round peg into a square hole because the level is square and any optimal pattern would be circular. If you go back and look at the pattern I gaave, you'll see that the diagonals are all symetrical! It's a cirlce! Well... more accuratly a mobius strip if you are into mathematic topology but who cares!
Hey you got a nice analysis here ! We have some people trying to come up with algorithms to find the optimal solutions but things get super crazy when you add all the other secret tiles to the mix ! haha
Pretty sure this is now the 5th game I’ve bought immediately because of your videos in like… a week lol. Please stop finding cool games my wallet broooo
you should never use an accelerator on a central, it adds value over time to the thing its facing, if you use it on the central it only effects the output of the central, but if you use it on a factory then it buffs the output of the factory which also buffs the output of the central, and the value being added can then be effected by parks, which is not the case if that value is being added directly to the central rather than a factory
Awesome content! I really enjoy seeing you explore the different mechanics of games and testing stuff. I dont know how you made everything so enjoyable to learn with you
Without wanting to insult the dev and also without saying it's easy to "just convert the game" I still ask the question why all those games that look incredible to play on mobile as well as pc or console never come to mobile but all the stuff that either plays horribly on mobile or sucked to begin with comes out on every concevable device humanity knows.
I think this was made to be mobile/web first but then converted to Steam to enable faster iteration. I would not rule out a mobile version down the line when the game is more fleshed out. The developer has been excellent about adding to this title in the last few months.
Apple’s developer system is crazy expensive, like $100 a year iirc, snd if you have an android app people are gonna start being really annoying abour getting one on iphones
12:16 You removed a factory that was supplying 2 centrals, one with x2 production, thus providing 4 tier-3 factories worth of production and exchanged it for a park that buffed 3 factories that together supplied 5 t3-production to centrals, 3 being x2 production, meaning a 30% buff on 11 t3-factories worth of production, or a net of 3.3 t3-factories - the park was less efficient by .7 t3-factories at the moment you placed it. Upgrading the factory touching 3 centrals (1 doubled), a tier-4 providing x2.5 the production of a tier-3, gives an 7.5 t3-f increase, a total of 18.5 t3-f buffed by the park, making the park worth 5.55 t3-f, making the park more efficient, until you realize that you now can't upgrade the removed factory, which would've been a relatively cheap upgrade that makes it worth 10 t3-f.
just if people didnt realize, what olexa here was trying 50% of the time was buffing centrals, centrals just give the output of surrounding factories, so if you give +1 to a central, you get +1, but if you give +1 to one of the factories the central will double it and you get +2, and if you could have a turned off factory giving to a central, you wouldnt get +2, becaues only the central would be producing, so you'd just be wasting space at that point x3
In addition to this, the parks gives +30% to surrounding factories, which yk is good because 1 factory gets +30% which goes to the central, but at that poind if you just give it to 1 factory you could just buy another factory and have +100%, so unless you do it to multiple its kinda useless (and yes olexa, to factories, cuz they dont boost centrals as we saw you pannicking about x3)
33:00 you could have flipped that factory in the down to face the jumper then you could have added that park. Also the factory on top between those 2 blue thingies you could have flipped down to feed the conveyor and the using jumper you would have been able to add extra factory to effect those 2 blue thingies on top
I just tried it out, my first setup got me to the box in like 35-40 minutes, but at 45 minutes in I had basically only investors, jumpers and centrals producing $NaNt per second. Where NaN literally means the game couldn't recognize how large the number was.
36:03 me wondering how long it will take him to notice one of the conveyors are going the rong way in the top right 3 tile 38:42 he finally notices after so many minutes 😂
To answer your question Olexa, by placing the first park you removed a factory operating at 100% to boost 1, maybe 2, factories by 30%. I do not believe that was mathematically worth it.
Have you ever played/considerd playing submachine? It doesn’t seem like much when you start the first episode, but boy did it evolve over the years. It is really worth a try and there is a free web version as well.
I would have tried to do it as symmetrical and with as few conveyor belts as possible, with little to no efficiency. There are things that matter more than money. Also wonder if putting the hole in the middle would mean you could shoot your money in there better...
So take this with a grain of salt because I'm only like 15 minutes in. But I'm imagining 4 centrals feeding into a central jumper with factories nearly all around it with a belt around the outside with like jumpers and parks alternating buffing them?
that first park was definitely not worth it, you removed 1 factory to place it, and it was only touching 3 factories giving each a 30% bonus or a total of 90% of 1 factory worth of production, you didn't lose much by making that change but it was technically less, and the reason removing the park and putting the factory back in was worse was because it wasn't an upgraded factory, but the one you originally removed was upgraded
