I remember I had a nice SQ setup and my favorite little piece of mounting accessory back in the day was my kick panel piece which housed my Oz Audio 6.5 & 1 inch tweet back in the day. I had mids & highs for days, I had a 6.5 inch in each door, both front doors, both rear doors, and the kick panels, I also ran a nice AudioControl 30 band for each side of the cabin. I ran Orion HCCA amplifiers throughout the system, one for the mids & highs and one for the 4 15” Orion dvc subwoofers. It was amazing as far as sound quality and just messing around I hit 155db with some Alan Jackson country music. What I loved about the system was the fact that I could turn up the bass to the max almost clipping and the mids & highs came through soo clean and not distorted in any way at all. I love big systems, but I absolutely have to have sound quality period!!!
That looks allot like the product sounds skins came out with a few years back. Unfortunately they were sued for patten infringement because they copied the “ fast rings “ design.
All of these designs work great but you're better off stretching a little too go around the speaker rather than on. If you ever need to take the speaker out it'll be trash if it's on it.
Installing these on the edge of the speaker means, if you have to service that speaker for any reason, you have to replace the ring. That is why I bring it out past the speaker ring. So if I need to remove that speaker for any reason I am not trashing the ring.
@@Davidszd-f1h When you install the foam piece behind the speaker you need to make sure that your window will not knock off the foam or interfere with the window when you roll it down. If you don’t get it, you will if you make the mistake of not checking. Good luck.
Hi! Please answer my question because I am confused. You say "keep speakers as close to the door panel as possible", but what panel do you mean? Do you mean the inner metal sheet that the inner round insulation gets stuck to, or do you mean the plastic panel that you remove when you install the speakers? Thank you!

Those kick panels cost $250. I don't think it's worth it for a piece of plastic but I do want that extra 6.5 when run my amp.

Sonic Electronic does this replace sound deadening or is it the same thing?
different things sound deadening helps with rattles. this helps get the sound out of the door panel so the soundwave wont bounce around in the door
