@@BrotherDerrick3X Are you kidding? She was a teenager, so he was MUCH older than her! Too old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Met Mr. Amos and got a chance to sit and talk with him….. I really felt like one of the kids. His presence is intimidating, yet loving; grounded in class and solid character. It was incredible! The greatest TV Dad besides Huxtable & Winslow
RIP Mr Louis gossett Jr 🙏🏿🙏🏿🕊️🕊️🕊️🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️
RIP Lou Gossett Jr
It sure must have been such a great honour and a privilege to have Mr Louis Gossett Jr on the set of Good Times. I wish I was born before Good Times... 🤗
I was. (Smug look on my face)
Bingo, Jack!
😂😂😂
We need more father's like James Evens. Just maybe these young women nowadays wouldn't act the way they do, wild and unlady like.
These young men as well....
Father of 1 daughter right here...💯
@@daystar73 Right On!!!👍👍
Yeah both young girls and young boys.
Not really.
How can a man teach a female to be ladylike? & Say *you* need more fathers like crazy James. Most Don't.
James played no games
This was at a time when all parents had to do was give you a look, and you knew to shut up or leave the room. Nowadays, it's the kids giving the parents a look.
RIP Esther Rolle and now Louis Gossett Jr.
Chyeee.... bruh was treading on thin ice with that kiss he gave Thelma in front of James😳
To be fair, that kiss Donald gave Thelma looked more like a kiss a Father would give his Daughter.
I'm not ashamed of my age i'm 42 florida:42 james: lord have mercy 😂😂😂😂😂
My Parents would have reacted the same way.😏
Anybody noticed Lou gossett Jr. dated thelma the first time he was on the show n then he come back n become there uncle on the other show that was weird n crazy lol🙏❤😂😎
Just like Ron Glass first played a blind salesman/con man, then further into the series he played the principal from Michael's school. And Theodore Wilson, who had a recurring role as Sweet Daddy Williams, first played the role of a nightclub owner earlier in the series.
@@lwmson yea i remember that i believe they do because they probably run out of actors or something because they do the same thing on family matters Sanford n son Martin n fresh prince n the shows also
@@calvinwoolfolk324 They did that in a lot of sitcoms. There was an actor named Allan Melvin and he played about half dozen different characters on the near 10-year run of the Andy Griffith Show.
@@lwmson o yea i think i remember him now
@@calvinwoolfolk324 I didn't watch family matters. I thought they only did that on 70s that ran into the 80s shows.
