Mother Jefferson didn't like Louise, but she loved her son George, so much, that she refused to let anyone take anything away from him, including his wife. In other words, Mother Jefferson was saying, LOUISE BELONGS TO GEORGE , SO, FOOL, GET THE F OUTTA HERE
Rest in peace Louis Gossett jr. He was awesome in this episode. He was awesome in An Officer and a Gentleman. He won an oscar for his role in an Officer and a Gentleman.
I agree with that, and getting within arms reach of him. But Louise was used to George not taking any of her guff, she probably thought she could bring him down. Those two had such a great tv marriage, she kept him grounded no matter how successful he got. She expected equality & got it.

Oh my Goodness. That was Loud😂😂
Well, from the situation, I see how he could think that.
@@sha11235and there was no way possible she would be defending Louise.
Louis Gossett portrayed Thelma's older boyfriend and Florida's brother Wilbert on Good Times in two different episodes.
The boyfriend was differnt right
After they fired James, they should have brought Wilbur on. They could have eventually hooked him and Wilona up.
