This was such a great show for so many reasons, a one of a kind. I remember watching these with my mom 😊and it became a staple at our house every week. She’s long since passed away, but I’m still watching it with her in spirit. All the later Cosby drama was so unfortunate, because it should never take away from how great this show was and the actors that gave it class.
@@brandonallen3808 Not really. I can still enjoy the show for the way it was written and how these actors made it feel like a family. But, it does always sour the overall legacy of show, which is sad. It was a classic.
Considering how well 'Night Time Is the Right Time' went over in the previous season, doing a follow up made sense, and I wouldn't be surprised given how much fun the cast had last time that they'd agree to do something like this again.
AMEN!!!...classic tv at it all time best....The idea/concept is one the thing...the execution is very much another.....The choreography n rehearsal involved to bring this off flawlessly!!! KUDOS to all.
I have to admit I liked this one better. What alot of folks didn't know at the time was that it was the "Audition" Song for The Jackson Five in 1968 at Motown. I heard folks were stunned when they saw Michael perform and who could blame them. Now from what I heard Michael's Estate "Owns" The James Brown Catalogue.
My family & I lived for Thursday nights in the 80s! We used to come together & watch the Cosby Show as a family!! I get nostalgic for th@ time in my life th@ will NEVER come again!!!❤
It was a time. You had to have been there. Damn shame what emerged about who Bill Cosby really was, but these memories are etched in time, in experiences, and will always be a part of us.
His dad lived just walking distance from my house growing up. He was there signing autographs in 1987 when the Cosby Show was hot! Even though I liked his character, my true crush was the guy who played his friend, Cockroach. lol
They only thing they didn't do is bring out the cape to put on Theo's back like they do with James. The girls had the juking and jiving moves of the band right on.
Also when James Brown was "Making His Bones" at The Apollo Theater in the 1950's, He Threw his Hanky to a Woman and she threw it back and he "knew" he had some work to do.
Yo Theo and Rudy did the damn thing here 😂🤗🤭🤣💁🏽♀️
YES THEY DID😊
The Greatest family show ever on television, hands down!!! Miss those days...it was all we talked about the next day in school 😅😅
I was a sophomore in HS and wanna say Growing Pains followed this on Thursday nights ..
Hand's Down. Without Question.Nothing but positives came from this show.
@@SGED392❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ 2:17 yggg😮
It'll talk about in the future.
@@SGED392 Interesting! For us here in Windsor, Ontario (across the river from Detroit) after The Cosby Show came Family Ties! Then Cheers at 9PM.
One of the best episodes.
Theo absolutely owned this...
Yaas! 🙌🏽😃👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽♥️
Naa Ruby owned ALL 😂🤣
@@ratkomilutinovic829You’re not wrong😂

Yeah - his dancing rivals that of MJ!
My Favorite show as a kid. This episode especially

Don't think I ever realized how hard Theo killed this one. haha. He was all in.
I just said the same thing!!!!!
Theo KILLED it! LOL
Yes he certainly did! Theo had some serious MOVES!!!!
Keisha is astronomically adorable.
Cosby ability to recognize talent and create roles were ahead of it times.
Theo and Rudy with that sweat rag is hilarious😂
SHOUT OUT TO VANESSA ,SANDRA & DENISE FOR HOLDING DOWN THE BACKGROUND,THEY WAS ON IT
Yep they was on point!!

Do you find it hard to watch the show knowing the drama happened? Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.

@@mduncan28 That's good to hear. Like I said sometimes I can overlook it sometimes I can't. Depends on how I feel and which episode is on too.
Exactly Right!
People need to learn how to separate the art, from the artist.
Malcolm was a really good dancer
My goodness! Was he ever!?!?! He had some MOVES!!!!
Rudy Huxtable killed it singing Baby Baby Baby

Yes. Too bad Phylicia didn't get to participate again. I think she was pregnant at that time, and she probably wasn't up to that kind of exercise :)
It doesn't matter what he did in his private life , this is gold !
Really
you can't stay mad at the Cos !
This can be gold and yes it still matters what he did in his private life
@@mlongpre100 Somehow I doubt it. Would you laugh in their shoes? This was about the kids, not him
💯 Dr Huxtable is a gem. bill Cosby served his time. Plus his sentence was reversed
That was too cute...little Rudy!
I know they had a total blast doing these. I know I sure enjoyed them ❤❤❤
One of my favorite shows. Absolutely love

Because I lived overseas, i was glad my children could grow up with this family and general hospital ❤
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Absolutely love ❤️ those classic Cosbys... 🥰🥰🤣
Thank God This Show Was Something I Watched Growing Up, Instead of Others...
Thank You to the Cast, Deceased & Living for Making My Childhood Awesome!
When this take was filmed MJW's handkerchief was missing. It was an ad-lib for him to grab the one from Bill Cosby's jacket.
Now that you say that, you can see him looking for it 😂 love this fun fact
Lol that’s amazing
This was one of my favorite shows. Such good examples for families ❤
Another classic Rudy killed it
I got to give Bill props on this one ,he had to be ON Q to get them James Brown grunts on point for that song , and HE DELIVERED ,THEY ALL DID LOL.
AMEN!!!...classic tv at it all time best....The idea/concept is one the thing...the execution is very much another.....The choreography n rehearsal involved to bring this off flawlessly!!! KUDOS to all.
Back then families had fun like this.

I hope that's true.
OMG! I forgot this episode....how great it is to go back in time!!! All of them were so great!!!!!❤❤❤

Theo the whole family made this show a hit
Ok they did that especially Theo and Rudy
Classic Cosby Show
And so began my childhood crush on Theo...
His dad lived just walking distance from my house growing up. He was there signing autographs in 1987 when the Cosby Show was hot! Even though I liked his character, my true crush was the guy who played his friend, Cockroach. lol
Happy Birthday to the Cosbys King Malcolm Jamal Warner!❤❤❤❤
Lmao the facial expression Bill Cosby made at the end lol 😅😅😅😅
I wonder if James Brown watch this he would be tickled pink
Ahh man so nostalgic
The origin of the show lip-sync battle
I love it when they do this kinda thing. I wonder how any others there are.
No matter what you think of Bill Cosby, his show was the best one on TV at that time.
Wonder if the real james brown saw this and what he thought of it?
He said yes and love what rudy did ❤❤❤❤
That was a great show!
I hope my son has children and do something like this for my birthday or anniversary. I would LOVE this hahaha

One of my favorite episodes besides " the night time" and the michael jackson's Bad Concert episode
This was funny back in the day, and it's still funny today
Absolute classic!!
They should have done this once a season lol
Trying to punish Bill Cosby, they forgot that the comedy show involved quite a few outstanding people.
No matter we still love Cosby show an it's cast
great fans here in Columbia SC love Bill and company
I remember that show. Had me rolling 😅
