This was my second time seeing Buckethead and it was yet again truly amazing. It was fun to see supporting musicians making the music live!..
Ok so firstly, songs from Mr. Bungle were playing before he stepped out, which is one of my favorite bands - even Secret Chiefs 3 and other avante-garde music I gravitate towards like Darth Vegas. That was awesome for me.
Secondly, he played The Zoo by the Scorpions which is a song from my favorite band - very unexpected for me and again awesome.
I was able to get a toy (eyeball glasses) and also press the button on his guitar!
Hope you all enjoy! The video is best seen on the big screen or on the TH-cam app where you can zoom into Buckethead if you want.

Only discovered Buckethead two years ago and now I can't listen to much else. Although I like a lot of his gentler stuff more than the heaviosity I attended this show and was completely blown away. My first time seeing him live and first time visiting Quarry Park in Rocklin, CA. Very cool venue. The bassist (fretless!) and drummer were in the pocket all evening and the young singer was excellent (Anyone know her name?). His version of Soothsayer at this show was the best I've heard even though there are tons of versions on TH-cam. I'm 72 and saw Jimi Hendrix live in Sacramento in '68 and saw Cream live the same year. I've been listening to all kinds of music since I was little and there are only a handful of artists that move me like this man. Some of his songs (especially on the album Electric Tears) cause me to weep for seemingly no reason. I mean how many rockers dedicate multiple songs to their parents or Aunt? He is an utterly unique individual and I feel honored to be alive while he is here on Earth.
Knocked something off my bucket list at this concert (pun intended 😜). Played Bucket’s kill switch and he gave me a nod of approval. Fxking Epic!!!
Bad ass vid, brother.. I just saw this about an hour ago and had to drop everything.. It's 5:15 AM, sitting in my wheelchair in my tiny bedroom with only enough room to spin around if I'm lucky, and of course watching this on a 75" Samsung 4k 😂.. The clarity of the video is just impeccable, nice job.. This is what Buckethead literally lives for : sharing the gift of music to as many people as he can reach, without showing off, without wanting fame or money, just to enjoy his passion.. He knows who he's reached and we ain't going nowhere.. Thank YOU for sharing this with the rest of us..!!
Watching this video on a 75in TV is the way to aha, glad it came out good and you and others can enjoy
This was my first Buckethead show and I’m so glad I get to relive it! Thanks and great job! Such an awesome experience and can’t wait to see him again!
Second time for me and glad you can relive it!
i live in an asia country. but i hope one day i will be able to watch buckethead playing live. thank you for the video.
I was at his concert in May, what an amazing musician. I never felt in my entire life that I experienced listening and seeing buckethead. Blessings to breathe same air at same time with live legend .
Just another day at the office for the Bucket head. Bravissimo!
There is no one like BH. . . Full stop. . . Phenomena.
He’s the reason I keep going on my own guitar journey. Thnx so much BH 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
His whole attitude of no-effs to give. If he wants to go off the rails for moment or two he has the freedom to do so.
Thanks for this! for those of us who will probably never make a buckethead show, this is the next best thing, a life line even! Thanks forever!
Scorps151 Dude!! Awesome quality and ur description kills it!! TY so much for the posting!! Wishing you many positive vibes. May your life be blessed brother!! Cheers!!
The sound quality of this recording is something else. I wouldn't be surprised if that guitar sound is pretty accurate to what you're actually hearing live.
Thanks! Yeah it’s pretty accurate to what it was that day - others who were there can chime in too
@@Scorps151 I was there. The sound is right on!
Fantastic show,🔥🎸🔥🎸!!! I'm jealous, I caught them on 6-4-24 MCM's last night in Spokane. Bucket was amazing as always!!
if I needed to have LAST WISH , it would a jam session with Buckethead .
Very much appreciate the fact your recorded the entire show in one shot. This is amazing. Congratulations on getting your toy and turn on the killswitch! I have also been lucky enough to do both and it's the coolest feeling. Thank you again!
Thank you! Yeah it was super fun and awesome - glad I was able to get some good footage
@@Scorps151 I'm glad you guys got to enjoy the show WITHOUT the horrible girl singer he got rid of. This setlist is so good.
Great recording. Buckethead was on point of course, but props to the drummer and bassist as well! In the pocket for the whole show
Maybe the drum parts where written by BH as well but the drum parts could otherwise be easily done with a drum machine ie; the beats are static and robotic a lot of the time. May be part of the design as a wild drummer may take attention away from the star of the show as it were?
Best concert video from the tour. Thanks!
Thank you! If I had got there just a bit sooner in line I think I would’ve made center, but yeah I think it came out great
@@Scorps151 Haha. Your spot on the rail worked even better for me, since I'm Juno (the bassist's) dad. You were right where I would have wanted to be. Perfect Father's Day present.🙂
@@JohnCallender wow no way! Glad the video could highlight his musicianship - Juno was awesome on the bass. A lot of folks online also think the same
Does he have social media? Do you know the names of the drummer and gal who came to sing for a few songs? I’d like to credit them in the description
@@JohnCallender That's actually awesome. May I ask how he even got in this position with Bucket? did he reach out or did Bucket or what? I always wondered because he's so to himself.
@@TheRealAchilleZ It's not really my story to share. From what I know it was pretty random; two people who lived in the same town and were into music who happened to run into each other and started chatting.
Haven’t listened to buckethead in years. Typed it in and this fresh vid pops up first. Thanks for the upload!
Thanks for sharing this, it was good to see him alive 🥰😊
I love the interworld reprise at 57:48 ❤
Sick that you got the full show, with great audio too!! I was the guy with the goofy mask who ended up next to you towards the end of the show lol
Kudos,well done...stationary cam,great audio,description breakdown,dig the attention to detail.Thumbs up. Long live buckethead❤
Jowls.
So soothing to my heart to see Big B again! LOVE!!!!
He’s the best, I love him! Thank you for this video, he’s so good.
Dude is a demon guitarist, insanely good.
Thanks for filming and sharing, amazing quality!
Thank you, glad the quality came out great!
Thanks so much for sharing this! Was a great show.
Thank you, this show was really cool!
E aqui vai o comentário de um guitarrista de forró e brasileiro fã desse cara👏👏
Bass and drums are friggin tight.
My first time seeing Buckethead and first time at Rocklin Quarry Park. I was right behind the standing area in the front. Awesome!
Time stamping the water break may be the best part of this vid.
Ahaha glad you like it - there’s more things I want to timestamp, but I think I hit the main ones
Love u so BuckETheaD thoughts & prayers always🙏
The typical knock on Buckethead is that his music leans hard into technical expertise and lacks feeling. I don't hear his music that way. And now, some Buckethead to start my day.
Thank you for posting the great video.
Thank you!
Amazing
Amazing recording! Amazing live! Amazing vibes! God I love Buckethead!
Thanks! Glad it came out good
Great ! Tx. !
I was there too!
Keep that drummer and bass player. They complement BH greatly. Excellent.
This is so beautiful
Thanks so much 🙏🏽
Thank you! 🙏
If Bucket handed me a bucket I don't think I could handle it.
No one ever handles it the first time.
this gotta be one of my new favorite BIG B shows
Omg is the bass player muting the low e with his pinky? What a friggin ace idea!!!!
I always knew he was a shredder, had know idea he was such a Riff Lord!! Holy Shit!! Epic.
If he had a band with a great singer, he'd be as famous as Dime, Randy or Zakk
super! thanks you!
🤘🤘🤘
Awesome
❤
Im digging the new band. Mix it up a little .
Did B forget his tuner? Holy fuck.
Tulsa Oklahoma Cains ballroom 9/24/24 I can't wait !!!
Super Cool BUCKET 👽
29:25 lovin that bassline
Nice garage band 😁
That echo thing he starts off with is awesome
Big Sur Moon, a classic
Never really knew of this guy, besides the kfc bucket hat and the GNR stint. But after watching this rando, I'm a fan I want to go to a show
What?? Playing in rocklin? Man that would have been killer to check out...
26:00 or so he's covering for Bernie. Space Viking baby.
This is some deep pocket drumming
BC IS BACK!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤b
who is the new singer and the bassist, i like them :)
Bassist is in the description, but have no idea who the gal is
👍🏻😊🎁😊👍🏻
Great video man! Please tell me you will be at the Caverns!!??
Sadly no, I'm in California. I originally planned to go to Santa Cruz, but the date didn't work out and then when I found out he was coming to Rocklin, it ended up working out
15:47 lol
Buckethead IS Awsome, but after 40 years of annonymous playing, I wish he would let us see his Face !!!!!! 🥰
Hope he’s healthy
Bucket gusts get it.
Where has BucketHead been?
🖤❤🤍🔥🔥🔥
Buckethead needs no introduction.
This is my shit
I think Dead&Co should replace Mayer with Buckethead lol
No scalping just a guy with 3 gen and 2 VIP for the Cavern concert and if he has Madeleine I am willing to let them go for way under the scalp price. I'm looking to go to a closer show he didn't add till months after I bought these...
S2
Maskatron Roper is such a killer tune! That part at around the 6:00 mark and around 7:20ish is just sick!
Hats off to the guy doing vocals, its leaps and bounds better than that poor lapse in judgement to start this tour, the entire shows are better, full stop.
im more impressed by the drummer!
He’s lost in time
Drummer is very average
2 hours of this, oh Jesus.
was it like 100 degrees there? dont buckethead sweat??😄
It was in the 90s that day - he must’ve been wearing all black
Saw Bucket in NY with Madeleine and now I wish the drummer did all the vocals
poor bassist 😂 he's just trying to keep the groove while bucket is going crazy. Doing a great job though
Weird why he did not replace the out of tune guitar for the backup one. I can see how uncomfortable he felt at some parts
Disney on the skyships telepathic musical steroids. advanced to the point of ha haville
does bucket… have a beard?!?
Yeah he does
DUDE GOT IGNORED BY BOTH BUCKETHEAD AND P STICKS
That vocalist is so much better than Madeline!
Cyrille had some issues live but I'd disagree. One Man Party on the album is pretty damn good and the slight off-pitch fluctuation at times actually just improves the album version. You never want things to be too perfect.
1000000000x agree
What was the point of person standing there fircall that?! Looks like a school of rock starring bucket head”
does anyone know a dominant bucket head wriff?
just curious.
wes borlin
dimebag
morello
all unique guys here that have catchy wriffs to name 3
i think ill just go buy a dunce hat and stand in a corner making whale sounds man would i be cool
The drummers timing continues to be off. Too bad:(
Love BH but this was really, really sad. Seeing play to backing tracks again, live on stage....wow, sad. Then the live stuff with his "band" was completely void of any energy or dynamics. The bass player looked pained as he carefully tiptoed his way thru the set, I am sure at BH direction. The drummer was completely lifeless and looked like someone just learning the instrument. There was ZERO chemistry between the players. This was a sterilized, disinfected, lifeless, comatose performance. I would expect this level from a kid band playing in a garage. But even them there would be a more energy and angst. BH used to play his entire set with a backing track and this was just as bad. Buckethead, until you bring in world class musicians to surround yourself ...and let them breath some life into the songs, you are going to keep playing these little nothing gigs for a few dozen people. You are regarded as a good technical player but until you realize that great music is more than the sum of its parts you will continue to languish in obscurity.
Incredibly boring and lame.
Okay loser lets see you do better XD
I disagree that it was boring. The drummer's timing is brutally bad though. He's out of his league here
@@pikin2 So it's all about him, and his gimmicks, boring. Why would he have a bad drummer? Cause he doesn't care.
@123Leeko what gimmicks? He absolutely shreds. It's not for everyone, but I enjoy him every now and then. I guess the lack of lyrics can make it boring after a long time, if that's where you're coming from.
@@pikin2 Ugh. There are way better shredders. That's good. Yeah that's one thing, boring, a second rate band, just a done lick pony.
Does he not have back up guitars? lol his guitar was out of tune a lot.
Listen to his drummer sing, I don't think he cares if it's horrifically out of tune.
Sounds like Chicken🐔
