  • Boxing Legend Mike Tyson hosts Sadhguru at home, and seeks insights on life, fear, and the human possibility. Sadhguru also answers questions on his own life, family and much more, in this unique and engaging conversation.
    00:00:00 Intro
00:04:52 Mike Tyson: What do you think you're here for?
00:30:16 Mike Tyson: How did you, how did you get on your path?
00:57:37 Mike Tyson: How many children do you have? Right now you spoke about daughter.
1:06:00 Q1: how you get to the soul of yourself by moving through your ego by practicing goodness towards others
1:12:11 Q2: What bothers you, and if nothing bothers you, why not?
1:14:15 Q3: Sometimes it's easy to get caught up in the results, the desire of what you're trying to do. How do you detach, but at the same time help… How do you separate?
1:18:10 Mike Tyson Asks: What should be my illusion of myself? Should I be a nothing, or should I be glamorous, magnanimous, powerful? What should I be?

Whatever your entertainment is, it could practically be anything. Let's all rinse and repeat. It becomes a never-ending cycle. Pleasure can prolong pain. But true joy will eliminate pain. Joy cannot be found in pleasure.
I could feel lust and engage in pornography to PLEASURE my flesh. But at the end of that carnal activity we feel the sorrow come back. Because Pleasure cannot diminish our sorrow but suppress it.
True joy is found in the relationships we hold in our lives with each other. When we confide in one another and develop friendships out of the darkness and in the marvellous light. Joy is the light of the world, but pleasure is a shade for your darkness.

"Toughest guys in the world get beaten by life" - Amazing how this answer to Mike's initial questions pretty much summed up his life story and directly connected with his heart. Sadghuru: Gives props to GOAT for being an example for transformation.
Word salad? for you yes! 🙌hehe
basically Sadguru explained how we can easily and positively elevate human consciousness. he's careful to cast pearls before swine lest they be trampled ONnn?
Letting go of resentment takes place in the heart, when we open our hearts we experience:
      Love
      Gratitude
      Compassion
      Forgiveness
      Understanding
      Kindness
      Joy
      Discernment
      Trust
These postitive heart-based vibrational experiences provide the motive magnetic force for thoughts and feelings.
      Thoughts(elec)are the steering wheel.
      Feelings (elec)are the fuel.
      Emotions (mag)are the engine.
A critical mass of us affects the principle of sympathetic resonance with our hearts thereby creating a synergy that positively changes the course of human events.
Peace and love to you, you are loved so much more than you know, you are understood so much more than you know because we are all connected and one. If we hurt others we hurt ourself.
      War ought to be illegal.

Fear is not necessarily a curse; it's a blessing too. For fear of what may happen in future, you get prepared to encounter it effectively or efficiently. Or you can thwart something unwanted from happening. As a human being, one can't live like an earthworm. We should learn to predict, forecast what would or may be happening in future. When something fearful is likely to happen, fear is beneficial. Because, fear will help you to get yourself prepared for it.

Absolutely loved catching Sadhguru on Mike Tyson's podcast - what an episode! Mike's profound questions had us hooked, and his vulnerability throughout was something special. As huge fans of Mike, witnessing this side of him was truly amazing.
One moment that really stood out was when Mike asked Sadhguru about the abundance of negativity we're exposed to. Sadhguru's response comparing us to lotus flowers, needing to rise from the muck to bloom, hit home. It's like a reminder that growth often emerges from challenging experiences. This episode was a blend of wisdom, connection, and authenticity. 🌸🥊🎙 #SadhguruOnTyson #LotusWisdom
