Hi Henry, thank you so much for all these videos. There is no one out there showing transparently how to monetize a podcast and what the actual numbers behind it look like. I did podcasting back in 2018 but stopped in 2020. Now because of you I am back on track. It definitely feels like the early days, as podcast is evolving. It might be like youtube for one day. So I think it's worth sticking to the grind for a couple years now!
From what point do you have access to these choices which allows you to get paid and how does that happen? Do you receive an email from these platforms with a proposal? Is the revenue based on number of listeners? By downloads do you mean people who had listen to your episodes? I just launched my podcast 2 days ago and all i have access to is option for "monthly subscriptions", but i don't have an audience built yet to restrict some of the episodes with subscriptions.

Is this a old video? Cuz anchor sponsorship right now haven't paid anything for a month now. I don't know what the hell is going on. I contacted support about 50 times with really no help. So I decided to write head office in NY to the CEO for some answers.
I just recorded it today. Everything is still working on my end. I did remove the ambassador as for 24 hours and then put it back on. That got it working again. They are heavy monitoring where traffic is coming from. Paid downloads will get all of that shutdown. Also they want the content to be advertiser friendly.
@@HenryGTH-cam it's not that because I contact support and then they sent me a email that day saying that there having issues with there ambassador ads. So that same day they sent me that email my sponsorship ad started working again for like 3 days then all of sudden payouts amount started decreasing but my plays stayed that same and then just stop all together. I remember I sent u a message and u told me that u were only receiving just Spotify income that why I ask if this is a old video.

I believe they set it to 100 unique downloads.

Once approved for automated ads, how long does it take for ads to appear in podcast ?
That should be pretty quick, I think they told me 48 hours.

How did u remove u ad to get it working again? Did u just pause it for 24 hours or u delete that whole ad?
If you right click on the ad, there’s a tab that says remove sponsorship. Remove it and then add it back in about 24 hours.
It seems like the customer support doesn’t always know what they’re talking about.
I just applied for automated ads with Anchor, hopefully they approve me.
