I noticed a pod of mine was newly eligible for an ambassador ad for some weeks now since the changes earlier in March. Finally before this past weekend it showed that I could record a host-read ad (for upcoming July 2023). I THINK I was able to confirm my email, set up my Stripe Payment info, and just recorded my host-read ad. Spotify states I should be able to start using this new ad in July 2023. Thanks for all your updates about the process Henry G!

Thank you! One of my pods is nearly at a $17 balance. That is not too much $$. BUT, that is just since March 2023. My old ad campaign is now categorized as "ended" since about March when Anchor switched to Spotify for Podcasters. I have a couple other 3yo pods since I began them all at the start of the Rona. Those 2 old pods do have an old balance but I think my traffic to a bit screwed so I am not yet eligible for the new ambassador ad on those 2. And a 4th pod has met the criteria for the ambassador ads but the ad is not yet available therefore I have not made any $$ on that one. I mostly have multiple pods because I have been trying to test out the analytics. It definitely gets confusing. I believe the analytics are a couple days delayed.
The analytics are definitely not 100% up-to-date in my experience. There seems to be a lag that can vary week over week. It’s a little frustrating, I wish it was as accurate as TH-cam, but there’s not much I can do about it.
Hello, I just saw that Spotify will apply a share revenue model since October 1st. In the past there was a 13$ fix rpm. What do you think the RPM will be with this update ? Thanks for the great videos !

Probably depends more on where you’re based. I believe you can only earn money with ads if you’re in the USA.
