Of course you will be a flight attendant if that's what you really want, you WILL get it. Please stay positive. Once you turn 18, you'll get to be in control of your OWN life and make all of your own decisions.
Studying videos like this is the perfect thing to do while you're waiting, you'll know so much already and be far more likely to get the job and life you want.

Ah yes it was quite different for sure. But I did know what I was signing up for and that spending Christmas alone would be part of the job, that's why I bring little things that make me happy along like tiny marshmallows and whipped cream for my hot chocolate. I think the snow helped a ton! Off to London Gatwick this year for Christmas... let's see how it goes haha.

@@margotindubai 2 years. I wish I would fly longer but got engaged in Paris and went to law school. I miss Dubai and Emirates. It’s is a great job and the lifestyle. As you know, it’s a physical and tiring work but always so much fun to discover new places with new friends on layovers.

I have an interview on monday for the flight attendant job i applied for a few months ago, but I'm in a weird time rn as I'm graduating in Deceber (still a college student), and after graduation I'll have to train for a few months before getting my degree certificate
My dream job has always been something that'll enable me to travel a lot cause travel is my passion, but I hate the dress code and I'm worried of other aspects as well.
Despite how I feel about it rn I'm still going to the interview because I wanna get better at getting interviewed. Also who knows maybe we will agree on letting people dress however they wanna dress
I’m sorry but I don’t think they are ever going to change the dress code. Professionalism plays a big part in an airline and dress codes are there for a reason. Despite what some people may think or say, having a flight attendant who’s grooming is immaculate and who looks professional, really is something passengers admire and appreciate. It sets the tone for they type of service the airline will give or strive to give.
I love being able to travel and get an income while doing it! And the life experience I get especially while working with difficult situations on board and working with customers who are so difficult they are set to not enjoy the flight, these are things I can take with me into other job interviews and provide examples pf what I can do to diffuse a situation.
If you are offered the job, great! Let them know that you won’t be able to join for a few months, I might be wrong but I think you have six months then you’ll have to apply from scratch again. But it is good to get experience in interviews. Absolutely!
But if something like a dress code is going to be a problem then this might not be the right career for you as they are strict with a lot of aspects regarding the uniform and how we wear it and our hair and nails. Just to clarify it for you.
